Still the best fish and chip shop in the area. The large cod here is excellent and they do real British chips. We also had mushy peas, but they have a bunch of other options. If you want take-away fish and chips, this place is worth a try.

Large cod ok, pukka pie ok, large portion chips disappointingly small - only just enough whereas all other chippies we go to have twice the amount! Paid £15, will get a Chinese next time!

Parked the car up, opened the door by the red bins to the rear of the building. Thought I could smell a dead body or something like that. Went to the front of shop and Al I could smell around by the entrance was the bins. Very off-putting.Now to the food. Chips- soggy & burnt, beef and onion pie- microwaved and soggy. Sausages in batter- greasy. Guess you gets what you pay for.Won't go again.Parking: It stinks of rotting food.

Very good fish and chips, absolutely delicious haddock. The service could use a bit of work though, I came in and had to stand around for five minutes before ordering even though there was no orders being taken at the till, when I was asked to order I was told my order would take about seven minutes to cook. So I did a bit of extended standing around. It was worth the wait though, very good.
