I had the pleasure of organizing a huge dinner outing of 25+ people at this marvelous restaurant. The owners were the kindest and most easy to communicate with people , and they delivered in the most remarkable manner. The food was outstanding and we all had a simply wonderful time at this place. Would definitely recommend this place . It's a lovely serene place to dine in and have a lovely time out with friends and family. Absolutely worth it!

Today, I eagerly visited Mario's to celebrate my birthday, drawn by the anticipation of indulging in one of my absolute favorite dishes: calf liver. Having seen enticing pictures of it on their menu, I made sure to book a table for my vegetarian friends who were joining me for the occasion. Despite being new to the castle area, Mario's staff proved to be friendly and accommodating when I visited in person to secure our reservation.Upon our arrival at 8 pm, our table was ready, and we wasted no time in ordering a bottle of Argentinian wine and a bottle of water to accompany our meal. As a delightful prelude to our main courses, we were presented with a plate of delectable dough cheese balls. These delightful morsels not only looked appealing but also melted in our mouths with their amazing taste.For our main courses, the ladies opted for the vegetarian risotto and spaghetti aglio e olio, while I savored every bite of my perfectly cooked calf liver. Judging by the clean plates that remained, it was evident that the food surpassed our expectations and left us thoroughly satisfied.Mario's is a family-run establishment, and their warm hospitality makes you feel right at home. Nestled in the Castles area, it's a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I can't wait to return for more of their honest, homemade cooking.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian risotto

Went last night after hearing great things about this place. Wow what a find, such a lovely family run restaurant serving delicious top class food. Service excellent, quality and choice superb and reasonable priced for the standard of food. Mum,dad and daughter all working and giving excellent advice. The complementary breads we're GF, you never would of known. The pan fried lambs liver was the best I'd ever tried. It was packed with people and the atmosphere was like being on holiday. I can't wait to go back. A real gem of a restaurant on our doorstep ❤️

My husband & I are very impressed with this new addition in Castletonia. The service was really top tier and very friendly - we walked in without a reservation, no available tables but they somehow made space for us. We also loved that we could bring our own wine. The food was beautifully presented and mouth-wateringly good; we both went for fresh pasta and thoroughly enjoyed it!
