The Checkers is part Westoning Community and has been for a long time and repected. However under existing management unfortunately, they don't care about the residents. They inform there employees not to park in the Checkers car park as this will free up space for customers. They have been directed to park in residential areas.ie Home Farm Way. This is a residential area and not to be used for business purposes.
I speak for alot of the residents in my village. Only today my neighbour visited her mother who is disabled. Not long after she left, an employee of the Checkers parked out side her house. I totally understand that people can choose where to park. However , this is residential and not to be used for business purposes.
This causes disruption to the community.
Phil , With repect to your rude arrogant reply. This matter has been brought to your attention on several occasions by the residents. Not only have you ignored this issue you have now escalated it by advising not only your staff, but also your customers to park in Home Farm Way. This is not an overflow carpark for the Cheque's It seems the small carpark has now become a problem for the residents. Only today your staff yet again, have parked disrespectfully on our pavements. To suggest I am hiding behind my keyboard is really petty as you can see my name on this post. Feel free to pop round to my home if you wish to discuss this further instead of trying to discredit my honest review.

We really enjoyed a sunny evening at The Chequers. The steaks were perfect, the staff were a delight and we felt very well looked after. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.
We had a wonderful meal here while overnight at nearby hotel. The food was as good as any gastro pub I've been to. And the service was particularly good. A couple of very minor things went wrong and they were so good about putting them right!

Sunday lunch was a bit disappointing and very expensive. The Yorkshire puddings were squidgy as were the roast potatoes. Such a shame!

What a lovely restaurant, we found this place just by trying to find somewhere to eat just off the M1. Great food, really friendly and pleasant staff. Wish we lived more local

Always an enjoyable meal at this pub. Just a service issue, the staff need to collect the plates rather than wait for diners to pass the plate to them when clearing the table. I am paying you service charge not the other way around.
