Good local pub. We just stop on our cycling route for a beer and fries. Nothing to complain.

Nice boozer, good size garden for the kids and they look after the beer well.

A proper pub, the bar is especially nice and traditional.

Lunch time pint which was great suggesting a well kept cellar. Not sure why the need to retain COVID screens around the public bar.
We stopped here on the way to Yorkshire for lunch. The steak pies were so good that we stopped again on our return journey. The landlady was lovely, going out of her way to draw a map for us to find the quickest way on to the M1. Really friendly comfortable place. Everything you want from a pub.

Nothing special. Mid table mediocrity. No pluses, nor minuses.

We are not from the area and had visited to have a look around due to a family member considering buying a home there. We decided to stop off for a drink on our way home and as soon as you walk in there is a lovely, homely vibe. The customers and owner of the pub were extremely welcoming. There’s also a huge play area round the back which was amazing for our four year old!

Friendly pub, god service and foods. Stopped by for a pint and a sandwich and they came with side salad and chips!Birders currently stopping by for the "Lt Bunting" should give it a try.
