Very nice meal. I come here often for work trips staying in the premier inn, the staff are always nice and friendly and it’s always warm! This meal was particularly good so wanted to share - sirloin steak & pepper sauce.

A family favourite of ours whether it’s breakfast, dinner or even Christmas Day dinner. We have been coming here for years with our children and even they love it especially the breakfast. The staff are always very accommodating and very friendly especially Tina. We will be back soon!

We had a delightful meal last night 12/12/23. Our waitress Jenay was an absolute delight, so lovely and friendly!! she looked after us thoroughly, and nothing we asked for was too much. I’d really recommend this restaurant too all. Food was amazing. We will be back in the new year. Thankyou !

We are local to the Horse and Jockey and often pop in for an evening meal. We have always had good tasty food , and the last few times have been served by the same waitress, Jenai, she is always so polite and cheerful, and always has time for a chat with out being too overbearing. She’s a real asset to the restaurant. I only gave three stars for atmosphere as over the years the restaurant, although always clean and tidy, is beginning to look a little tired and would benefit from a spruce up !

Shocking place. Food was a disaster. Stale bread, undercooked food. Mushrooms burnt. Soup lukewarm. Inedible. Even went to the trouble of raising the issue with the server. They just weren't interested. Nor were the customer services when I sent feedback. Shame, as Table Table and Whitbread used to be a good brand. Never again.

Arrived, table taken by someone else? Ordered drinks, delivered incorrectly, had to be changed. Food arrived, 5, yes that's five Turkey dinners arrived, every one the turkey was cold and Brussels sprouts hard as concrete. Desserts, all the special ones, like after eight, matchmaker etc massive air gap between the dessert contents and the whipped cream on top. Waitress didn't seem to have a clue or confident about anything and from the food experience, neither did the kitchen. Appalling representation of Whitbread Plc.

Having had breakfast which was lovely I have to say Tina was magical in her service and attentive to everything required to my my breakfast experience perfect. The chef came out and said hello and seems lovely.

I have been coming here almost every night for the last few weeks. And I can genuinely say that i have always been met with a warm friendly almost family like presence from the staff. Their food has always been spot on and so has their service.
