My husband and I were gifted a voucher for an Afternoon Tea. The cafe is charming and cosy, and the food, beverages and service were very good. The Cakestand & Crumb is definitely a jewel in Ampthill's crown.

Thank you for a lovely afternoon tea. The sandwiches were fresh and very good quality. Cakes were really good, the scones were soft and not at all dry, perfect. We were delighted that you could also offer a gluten free afternoon tea. The gluten free cakes and bread were excellent. The staff serving us were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make our experience special. Loved the record player too. Great atmosphere thank you.

Nice little place but first experience wasn't great. Staff weren't particularly attentive, cake was average and coffee was poor. Afternoon teas on other tables looked nice enough, perhaps an off day.

Beautiful festive afternoon tea on 23rd December for 6. Teenagers and in-laws loved it so great for all ages.....we did fail miserably at finishing it all but were delighted to be given bags to take our uneaten cakes home. Was great

I recently went for a Christmas Afternoon Tea on 22nd December - absolutely loved it!! This is the 3rd year in a row I have done this with my Mum - sandwiches are delicious, scones are so fresh and cakes were amazing!! So much food for your money - will always come back as I am a regular customer!
