Excellent country pub that does a friendly and efficient job. We visit often as they do an excellent lunch for over 55's at a great price. Wonderful staff give a happy atmosphere to the dining area and they are very efficient too. Well worth a visit.

Food was good, but they do not take food allergies/intoleralcies seriously. It's the second time I have been caught out despite making known my serious allergy with eggs. Fortunately it's not live threatening, but one day someone may not be so lucky.

Lovely Sunday roast today with the family XStarters were big portions prawn cocktail and pate ,Breaded mushrooms.We had mixture of roast beef ,gammon and chips and Cajun chicken burger.All very nice and service was quick, lovely friendly staff .

Haven't been here for ages. A huge improvement has been made. Food was lovely in a home cooked style. Service was friendly and efficient. I will definitely be visiting more often in the future.
Went for early evening meal. Food was all well cooked and what I'd call fairly traditional pub food. Servers were all very friendly and service was very efficient. It was very quiet when we went as it was early so difficult to get a feel for the atmosphere. Plenty of parking to the rear and clean toilets. Would eat here again.Dietary restrictions: One of diners gluten free, staff were able to easily advise on suitable dishes.

I met with friends for lunch and had a lovely meal. We all had the three courses for £15, well worth the money. All the food was cooked fresh and plenty of it. There was a really good choice on the menu. I would recommend you book a table as they get very busy. The staff very friendly.

Lovely place serving home cooked food at reasonable prices. We often come for a special occasion. Staff are friendly and we always have a good time. Toilets are clean, parking is ample. There is also a nice outside seating area with a climbing frame for children. Would definitely recommend. The home made cherry pie is well renowned in the area and delicious.
