Italian Restaurants in Luton

“Davvero, davvero buono!I'm tipically skeptical about Italian restaurants abroad, but this time I have to recognise it was a very pleasant experience! Everything great, from the food to the staff efficiency and kindness. And the Chef is super ;)”

“We didn’t want to eat the usual that’s on offer close to the airport and so we found Mona Lisa - fantastic traditional Italian restaurant. Fantastic service, good value - would love it to be closer to home for us. Recommendations for places to go in Italy- named me what to fly from Luton more often!- normally we fly from Stansted or Gatwick but the whole experience has made us reconsider. Do give Mona Lisa a try”

“Food was lovely but unfortunately the atmosphere and decor was not great. Service felt like they rushed to take your order and we were forced to order starters and mains at the same time when we didn't want to. It's not nice to be rushed. Having said that the food was tasty we enjoyed it. The chilli oil was great. Staff /owner need to be a little less rude - customer service needs a bit of work.”

“Best restaurant in Luton hands down. Need I say more? Well yes, Fillet steak with foie gras was unbelievable and one of the best wood fired pizza selections I have tasted”

“Three of us met up and ate here prior to a show at the Grove Theatre (not really walking distance if you're on a schedule but coming here turned out to be definitely worth the short drive)Donatello's has a comprehensive main menu but we were drawn to the special offer on the blackboard: margherita pizza plus three toppings and a side of fries or garlic bread all for £10. A good choice of toppings ensured that our final pizzas were very different from eachother and we each found a combination we liked. With a thick crust to get a decent chew on and a decent portion size, we each had some to take away and enjoy later. Quality cannot be faulted and we all felt that it was excellent value. The drinks weren't quite the same value, one drink each (two of which were soft drinks) took our combined bill from £30 up to £47, but overall we were satisfied with Donatello's and would return when next in Dunstable.”

“Amazing food! Lots of choice and everything we ordered was tasty and a good portion size. The ice cream was also great. The staff were very lovely and helpful. So glad we chose to come here!”
