When it first opened I thought the food was intially quite average. But as time has gone on the quality of the food and the afghan authenticity has really begun to shine and it is now my go to spot for Afghan food in Luton. Their mixed grill is amazing. Sevice is also always on point. Only issue is sometimes it can get a bit loud with music/nasheeds in the background and general atmosphere but it’s not the worst. Otherwise excellent restaurant with very good food. Highly recommend if you are in Luton and surrounding areas.

I have Ordered Food from Karwan Restaurant Luton. They have Missing Food Item. When i Called them for missing food item they said its just item we missed. What kind of customer service is this. When Invite your friends for food and if someone is vegetarian and you ordered food for them and they missed it and they said its just item. How can you feel about when your friend is standing infront of you while others have their Food.

Absolute joke out of the Afghan Cuisine! The food had no taste what so ever and so overpriced, in fact it was stale and cold. The “afghani naan” was meant to be burning hot to touch but it was cold and hard. The service didn’t bother to look at us for 20 minutes waiting to get billed when the restaurant was empty, and before we had waited 20 minutes just to get our order taken !? I don’t know why people are rating this rubbish food 5 stars; because for £66 I would’ve had way better at Royal Shinwari.

Best Afghan restaurant around. Travelled from London at a friend’s recommendation and we weren’t disappointed. Ambience is a little basic, but food and service are top notch.Highly recommended for any budding foodies out there.
