“The Red Lion is the most common pub name in the UK, and obviously no two are ever the same when it comes to aesthetic or offerings (one need only watch the Red Lion documentary on YouTube to see The variety for yourself). Upper Sundon, I'm happy to report, have got themselves a most excellent one!I did some live music for these guys on Saturday, and the atmosphere was brilliant. You can be sure of a warm welcome, a brilliant selection of drinks, fair prices and efficient service. It's clearly a great place to watch live sport, too, with multiple televisions installed throughout the premises. They make an absolutely banging pizza as well ?Other such assorted pub entertainments include quiz nights, family fun days and classic car shows, amongst others. Upper Sundon, I ask you: What more could you ask for in your local?I can't wait to come back, for sure ?Kid-friendliness: Look on Facebook for when the family fun days are, they'll be perfect for children.Parking: Parking to the rear of the pub.Wheelchair accessibility: As long as somebody holds the door open, wheelchair users should be able to access the property without an issue.”

“This is a lovely, friendly, welcoming village pub, with a large outside area, perfect for an al fresco tipple and outside events.Laura and her team are brilliant, offering various events throughout the year, from a Christmas Market, to special occasions such as the Coronation and fundraisers for good causes, karaoke and live music.
