Words aren't enough to describe how bad the food looked snd tasted. Two spoonfuls and I chucked the fluorescent mess in the bin. Tasted stale and looked radioactive. Horrible

Absolutely dreadful food! There were two hairs on/in the starter platter box, chicken satay was old and dried out inside but soaked in old oil, it was gross. The starter platter wasn’t touched on the side of the hair, but the other side we took out a spare rib that was all bone and grissle. The seaweed wasn’t real seaweed and had so much sugar on it, it was like a dessert. Crispy beef had little/no beef and had raw onion in it, the special rice was bland and flavourless. The food arrived quickly but was tepid at best. £40+ in 4 dishes, the worst takeaway ever, shocking!!

Literally half the order showed up. They acknowledged only half the order was there… then just never came back. £87 order… got like £40 worth of food. Won’t be back. Honestly

I decided to give it a try after a friend’s recommendation. The food were amazing and the staff were friendly. I believe some of latest reviews weren’t true on here. Would recommend it.

The only place I get my Chinese take away from. I have tried other restaurants, but they don't measure up to Hot Wok.Always happy to change anything and your food is prepared quickly.Parking: Parking is in bays outside the parade of shops or there is a free carpark on the opposite side of the road

Do not order if it's late, we ordered food which never showed. Took the money no problem though (crazy I know) go somewhere else
Used for many years but now the most expensive in the area. Some dishes are several quid more expensive than others in the area. Know were Ill be buying in future.

I love Hot Wok and I have had proper withdrawal symptoms, as it has been closed for a fortnight. I will be ordering this week, for sure. The staff are friendly and always accommodating - especially Denis! Had a lovely birthday treat last month. Thank you!

Ordered meal A for one person. It was ready in 2 mins. Walked home opened it and the chicken chop suey was the worst thing I ever seen come from a Chinese. It was a tub of bean sprouts and sliced carrots with some chicken that looked like it processed, couldn’t eat it as it just tasted like water and bean sprouts. The pork balls are fine but the sweet and sour sauce was not sweet and sour sauce it was ok sauce but made with vinegar. All in all none of it was edible. I call to complain and the guy hung up the phone. You can rip people off once but you will run low on custom. By far the worst Chinese I have ever tried to eat.

Made me wait for my collection order while they served all the delivery services, deliveroo etc. Then they forgot me and my order was left somewhere getting cold. Also everything was overcooked especially the chicken balls. Dreadful.
