came in at 1pm and the service was amazing was good to see a women in the kitchen all by herself she was working so hard and was busy but still made sure the food tasted the best thank you to the young blonde girl also for the service she gave she was polite and friendly overall I'm impressed ?

the lovely lady in the kitchen brown hair was amazing working by herself when there was a big table in the restaurant we still got our food quickly, just wanted to also say thank you to the young waiter Paige was very well spoken and had a lovely conversation together will definitely be coming

Me and my friends had a very nice experience at Pizza Express last weekend. We were nicely welcomed by the manager and our waitress was very friendly and kind, she helped us to choose our food according to our preferences. The halloumi bites and the dough balls with butter cream were spectacular. The restaurant was busy but all staff was working hard to make customers happy and the atmosphere looked very relaxed overall.

We ordered new pasta dish but specific cheese was missing so the chef added mozzarella chef but it was too too cheesy. However, overall it was enjoyable experience.

Sad to say that this Pizza Express is not anything like the Pizza Express of old. The food took ages to come especially considering we were in a sparsely occupied branch which busied up considerably later. The pizza was soggy and bland I had to get up and go to someone to get the bill - which is where the fun started. I shared the payment with my friend and used my phone to pay. My card registered it had gone through but they were convinced it was declined. I was made to pay again - this time I used the same actual card but chip and pin this time. On checking my card through the bankjng app there are now 2 payments pending........I will be expecting a refund on at least one of these. The inconvenience and irritation, not to mention the lack of quality in the food, means that this is definitely off the menu for the future.

Calzone was like a small pastie, dough balls were pathetic, beer was warm, but they did replace with a colder one. Service overall wasn't great, waitress really didn't want to be there and had no manners whatsoever.

Location and table availability good. Let down by ?managers? attitude. Very possessive of menus!! We picked 2 up whilst we were waiting to be seated and he took them off us, put them back in holder and took two identical ones out!!Didn't write order down and had to come back, tried to take menu off me before I'd finished ordering. Young lady took over part way through and no issues with her but at the end, previous waiter returned and when we requested the bill, he gave us the wrong one. This was actually cheaper than ours but being honest, we asked the young lady for our bill, no problems. Food itself was hot, fresh and tasty and atmosphere good.
45mins wait between the starters and the rest of the food. Had to ask for our order twice. Half empty restaurant. Service is a joke. Won't be returning.

I tried the new thicker base pizza and it was AMAZING. We were served by the Manager Pasquale who is a credit to the restaurant. Nothing was too much effort for him and he was great with the kids. I will most certainly be returning.
