We had four lovely meals at this restaurant and they were very good value. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the £5 menu pudding Candymania to share and it was huge. Cream, chocolate ice cream, nice cookie dough pieces and chocolate pieces. We were amazed at the size and the value for money.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and well kept beer. Clean and tidy, hygiene clearly a priority.

Just came out of there. Waiting at the till for service behind some people who were doing their food order at this point there was no one else at the bar . They finished their order and we waited the guy completely ignored us and started serving people on the complete other side of the bar. When i asked him if it was okay to order he gave me a attitude and said yeah once i have finished this order there are other people waiting I said yeah thats fine we will be next right since we were waiting first. He said i will serve whoever i want. This happened around 5:00pm Friday 29th dec if you want to find out who it was and what happened.Thoroughly disappointed and will not be returning. Your servers especially whoever it was that served me need training in customer service

They are offering a brilliant meal deal for Jan, £5.00 for most of the pub classics. We had a Chicken new yorker each and they were lovely and at £5.00 each, cannot get better than that.

Love this place. The food is always excellent and affordable. And they have some absolutely cracking ciders on at the moment. Long may it last.

I was unfortunate enough to spend money on one of the worst restaurant meals I have ever had. Not only are you expected to pay in advance for the meal (I now know why) but the food was definitely verging on the inedible. When we complained, the management had the good grace to return half (it should have been all) the cost of the food.

The former queen of the Iceini Boudicca was known to be of dazzling red hair and fierce temper. She rampaged over the 14 hills of London and put to death every Roman man, woman and child in a spiteful revenge for being ravaged by a group of Roman soldiers. Today that spirit lives on in the red headed barmaid at the Hungry Horse in Bracknell, whose stare, sullen attitude and frankly contempt for anyone trying to dare order a drink was impossible to miss. It later turned out that her travelling tribe of a family were allowed to be loud, spill drinks and ravage the only decent eatery in Bracknell. Thankfully the frankly younger tastie Tradie barman did a better job at taking the food order to make me forget the queen of chaos. Not many tradies in tonight but ex tradies and some on downtime with the missus notable in the bar. For dinner I had the horseshoe onion rings and the home run burger (hot dog ontop) while my colleague had the gravy burger. Both delicious and a good deal on a bogof at £18. The waitress was friendly if not shy and the other staff don't speak to you if they don't know you, perhaps red haired hanna taught them to hate anyone new, who knows. I would come back for the food not the atmosphere it's a 3 from me. UPDATE : Having been contacted by the management I am pleased to say they took the issue in my review seriously as they maintain high standards of customer care in the Running Horse so everyone can have a great visit. As a deaf lad in a crowded place I didn't raise my concern with the manager at the time but I have no doubt from the conversations with them any issues would have been dealt with correctly.

Pretty good for a cheap eats good value for money. The grill is fine slightly better than a wetherspoon up the road. The big ice cream sundae is a family favourite. Very unfussy and family friendly.....

I felt so at home this evening with family and good friends. The service was on point and I felt all the staff went above and beyond to cater for our needs. Thank you to Richard, Jon, Sarah and James and big John. You made an emotional day very special indeed. I would also like to add how happy I was to note the charity work that was going on to support children from less fortunate backgrounds.....good work ❤️

My first visit to the Running horse for breakfast. I must say a great breakfast for the money . Excellent service from Kelly front of house staff. Will be using it more often.

Great service and good food. Michelle (waitress) has got to be one of the kindest people going, she speaks to customers so beautifully and respectfully. Wish more people were kind like her.

Found hershall grimes and spring trap IN MY RICE. Think there was some cobwebs in my drink and a layer of skin on my curry. Great food every other time though. Was proposed to with one of the ring pops from the machine. 10/10 great experience.
