Unfortunately the roast dinner were so dried up, stuffing hard, roast potatoes were like boiled. Seems as it was late afternoon 4pm the food was left standing on warm plate from start of day. Even ran out of childs meal baked beans, given wrong rice, asked for plain only. Very disappointing, not recommended, food very poor, as 10 in party only 4 meals were ok. Terrible experience

Food was OK but our waitress was grumpy. She got some of the order wro g and slammed out drinks down. I don't think I will go back.

Been several times before but this time the food was poor - the portions were small and the beef was very difficult to cut (especially for an OAP). Children's MacCheese lunch was awful. I think we will skip this in the future.

Visited for a Sunday roast. Delicious food and great value for money. Service was friendly and quick.

Food was great, service was great, and very accommodating to dogs. However…the pub has large writing on the side of the building saying “local cask ales”, yet they only had two very standard ales on draught which was very disappointing at the end of a long muddy walk. Room for improvement.

???? Located off beat between Bracknell and Windsor this well lit, lovely country pub restaurant has good parking. There's a warm welcome, long bar clearly serving all the brands we love and great food with a well engineered menu. Check out our supper photos! Service with a smile from Julie, our waitress who was friendly, efficient, and checked on us during service. There were plenty of guests when we dined so I recommend a booking. Fair prices and this restaurant also accept Tesco vouchers, which is a bonus! Highly recommended great British pub, very clean and presentable interior, suitable fir any occasion. Thanks, guys! See you again soon!Vegetarian options: Check out the great menuDietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes availableParking: On-site private car park exclusively for customers.Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of level floor space, no steps at the entrance.

I've now dined here three times in the past year and would definitely return again. The menu choices and the quality of the food are good. The servers are friendly and efficient. All the staff make you feel welcome. The pub has a cosy and relaxed atmosphere and is a perfect place for casual dining and drinking. There is outside seating for warmer days and it is dog friendly. I have had several bad experiences at Greene King owned pubs in recent years and vowed not to visit any again. My niece suggested we meet at Shepherd's House last year and my faith has been restored by the team there who offer decent food at a reasonable price served by friendly people.
