Had an amazing Sunday roast today with my friend, they went above and beyond with their service, 10/10.

We just happen to be in Binfield for an evening appointment so wanted to eat afterwards and our host recommended the S&H. The large car park was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday but although we hadn't booked they were easily able to find us a table and there was still seating left. The menu selection was excellent and the food was wonderful. Friendly and quick service was also a feature and we realised this ancient and atmospheric Pub was serious about good service and brilliant food. What a great find so we will definitely be visiting again

The Stag and Hounds welcomed us today for a 40th Birthday meal, couldn’t do enough for us, friendly staff, lovely food and all 13 of us came away very happy indeed. Will be back again very soon.

The small portion of roast beef was underwhelming (2 slices), with flavourless over boiled veg and dry roast potatoes that tasted as if they’d been sitting about. It was 4pm on a Sunday. It wasn’t terrible, we all finished what we had, but I wouldn’t go back again for it. We were sat in the bar area. The service was quite rushed and that impacted on the ambience as well. Given the reviews, I’d expected better.

Fish and chips were overcooked and the starters were salty to the point where they were inedible.

Welcomed by the fire, barman was very helpful, and the food was incredibly tasty. Even made some onion rings off menu, shows you they have a proper chef making fresh food. Make sure to leave room for the dessert .
