A very good hotel in a good location and certainly merits more than the 3 stars it has been awarded which I assume is only due to the lack of facilities such as a gym/pool etc. The accommodation itself is at least as good as any other 4-star hotel we have stayed in, as is the food. We have stayed here on numerous occasions and this time we were disappointed to find that the Electric Vehicle Charging which was previously complimentary is now charged at 2 different rates, 1 token is provided for each night's stay at £5 which provides 2 hours of 11 Kw charging. If you need another token, it is £10 which would make this more expensive than some big company fast chargers (when it isn't fast charging) at approaching 50p per Kw. The chargers are labelled as 22 Kw but they only charge at 11 kw. We found this disappointing and this had been a deciding factor in staying a this establishment in the past rather than others in the same area, so I do hope the management will look again at this facility.

What a fantastic hotel. Everywhere you went was spotless. The rooms where clean, tidy and well presented and couldn't find any fault. The attention to detail was very noticeable and the food served was out of this world. Although it was autumn, the gardens are kept well and i can only imagine what it would be like in summer. We will definitely be returning when we visit family again. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay a memorable one.

A wonderful hotel and will definitely be back next time we are working in the area. At check in we were given a free upgrade to a huge room 410 in the Stable block. Blissfully comfortable bed and bedding. Spotlessly clean. Great EV car charging. Tasty food in the restaurant. Warm and efficient staff throughout the hotel.

Stayed here for one night after ascot races. Lovely hotel, room was clean and spacious. Also booked dinner in one of the dine pods, my husband said it was the best lamb he’s ever had. We will be back!

We didn’t actually get to stay, due to storms which prevented us travelling. However, the service levels received from booking until dealing with changing the booking due to the storms was phenomenal. Messages were dealt with incredibly promptly and courteously. I really felt they went above and beyond (big shout out to the lovely Rebecca!) Looking forward to rescheduling our trip soon so we can also experience staying in the hotel!

Stayed for a big birthday celebration with our children and grandchildren and everything was perfect - and I rarely say that! We booked four rooms and they were all clean, comfortable and well provisioned - the grandchildren were impressed with the biscuits! We had a family meal in the restaurant and it was universally agreed that the food was also excellent, as was the breakfast, which the grandchildren tucked into with gusto. All-in-all a great stay and a perfect venue for our family event.

Everything is first class, so much so we stayed an extra night. All of the staff.. reception, restaurant, housekeeping are all approachable, professional and provide a first class service. The hotel is a wonderful building in a well kept, attractive rural setting with ample parking. Inside the high quality continues; rooms are spacious with quality facilities; free WiFi, comfortable furniture, beverage supplies etc. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. The location provides a great base for visiting Windsor, Legoland etc. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic hotel. The room was clean, modern and spacious. We stayed here after a trip to Legoland and it was only a 10 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend. We arrived to find some colouring books on the bed for our little boy, which was a really lovely touch. Thank you, Stirrups!
We booked this hotel last minute. Very close to LEGOLAND, the bar and restaurant were excellent. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Will definitely return. Lovely location. The grounds were lovely, we did not get to use the pods in the garden but would love to try them on our next visit.

What a lovely experience! Booked an outdoor pod to celebrate a birthday and it couldn't have been much better! The pods are brilliant - they don't have much head room but they are so much fun! There is even a Bluetooth speaker to play music on, and the service was brilliant. The afternoon tea wasn't the best I've had, nothing wrong with it but the cakes looked nicer than they tasted. Lots of tea and coffee refills whilst we chatted away - was a great girly catch up and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended!
