We came here for Mother’s Day and we all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I especially loved the ducks outside and can’t wait to come back during the summer for a gin in your garden!

I can't fault the Atmosphere. It's a lovely pub at a lovely location and i've heard the food is good. What I can comment on is the prices. 2 Cokes (not even pints) and a beer cost £16.15. I'd understand with beer but for Cokes? When questioned I was met with a rather disdainful 'It's the most expensive beer' and they walked off. I'm not sure the beer was the problem. I'm not easily irratated but the sheer lack of concern / engagement on my comment makes me think this isn't the first time the prices have been questioned. Shame.

Visited recently, the staff were extremely attentive although it was busy which had a good vibe. The food was great I ordered the shepherds pie which was recommended and it was very tasty. I’d say the place could do with a refurb, some new furniture and definitely some attention needs paying to the toilets considering the price of the food.

Popped into our local with some friends for a catch-up over a bottle of wine. We sat near the fire which created a lovely atmosphere.The staff were accommodating and attentive. They recommended camembert and scotch egg which were both amazing.
