We had a really lovely lunch here yesterday. We all had the pies and they were the best I've had in ages!Then staff were super - attentive and made us feel very welcome.We are already talking about visiting again soon, and buying some pies to take home !Vegetarian options: Amazing vegan pieDietary restrictions: I have a dairy allergy and they were very clear about what i could have. I ate the vegan pie, and it was absolutely delicious.

Lovely atmosphere even when really busy.Service was excellent and my steak and kidney pie was the best I have ever had! So good we bought some to take home from the shop.Will definitely return.

Sunday roast was good, but I found the meat dry and tasteless. It would be nice to have a bit of juiciness. Also would be nice to have Yorkshire puddings and stuffing for every roast option.Tea was warm not hot.Dessert was delicious and the service wonderful.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch here. The food was freshly cooked and excellent - great roasties! The owner was so lovely and friendly. I would highly recommend it.

We were a group of nine most of us had three courses and everyone said the food was excellent, we could not fault anything. The staff were very attentive and we were really made to feel welcome. We will definitely return.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Wellington was delicious.

Sadly wasn't open at 5.50pm on Thursday 28th December, despite the opening hours on Google saying so. I drove 30 minutes to get there.
