I have been coming to Burger King Newbury for lunch when I finish work in Newbury. The service has been terrible, slow and all staff just don’t care! Today dated 30th December 2023, I waited 30 minutes just for a 1 cheeseburger with no bacon meal! Very slow! Terrible service!

I went into the restaurant and was met with an unfriendly member of staff. Showed him the app on my phone with loyalty points, how do you use, pointed.. mumbled. Order was placed eat in, then stood there ! While the staff member couldn't remember what he's doing, so had to ask for a cup for the drinks machine. Meal was a while, it eventually the guy called the number threw the meal on the counter in a bag. Not a tray for eating in. Food was just warm. I complained and got a sorry, and nothing else. Shocking !!! All the staff look like they don't want to be there. Avoid till they buck there ideas up.

Went to Burger King yesterday, did drive thru. They were busy, but team was friendly and efficient. Food was served quickly and fries were crispy and piping hot - perfect!

Always the same here, a franchise that’s ran badly. The drinks machine is missing 90% of the options shown, charging you for sauces but don’t have the bare minimum options. These can be seen as a one-off on occasion but it’s ALWAYS like this.

Absolulty useless...always get my order wrong, always out if stock of the 'limited time' food specials...and still doesn't accept cash...everyone accepts cash now!!Gave them a second chance on 21st of Sept 2023 via deliveroo. Ordered my wife a plant based whopper...wife took a bite and they had given her a meat one, hadn't eaten meat in 10 years, then spent the evening throwing up. Called to complain, they didnt apologise, said 'nothing they can do' and hung up on me. So i drove down to complain. Person in charge did everything she could to avoid me. Offered me a free burger to say sorry!! Worst experience I have ever had. I work in retail so have a lot of empathy for fellow retail workers, but these at the this store are absolute useless and very rude.

I wish I had read the reviews before visiting the Newbury Burger King because I would not have gone! The food takes forever if you are in the restaurant as they seem to prioritise drive thru and just eat/deliveroo customers. I waited for 20 minutes for my food and when I sat down to eat it they had given me beef instead of chicken. When I returned it, the manager was rude and said it was my error. I waited a further 20 minutes for the replacement which was luke warm when I got it. We left without eating it. Whilst this was going on I witnessed the staff being visibly frightened of the manager who wanted to find out who was responsible for the error given it wasn't me. I saw him shout at one staff member in front of customers when he was identified as the one that took my order. I am shocked at what I experienced. Burger King - you have to do better!

Food was ok, everyone had to wait for their orders, man serving did not appear to understand customers that well.

Food ok service not so good, I always use the app at burger King to get the best deals. This time, the service was appalling very slow and unorganised lots of orders was wrong (coming back with complaints) the chips were only just warm, seems the management could not organise the staff correctly as there did seem plenty of staff working just in a chaotic way, have not been here for awhile so maybe just a one off time though.

Very, very poor. I have taught English to students of many nationalities (e.g. French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Polish) at all levels and have inspected throughout Europe. Staff at B. K. could also benefit from lessons from me in an attempt to be proficient both aurally and orally. Finally, my Tastecard was scanned but no 25% reduction was given - even after the Manager had been summoned. It is highly unlikely that I shall ever return.

I came into Burger King and asked for a cheese burger, the man was rude and said they don’t do cheese burgers?? This is Burger King of course you do!So I asked for a bacon cheese burger without the bacon making a cheese burger. 10 mins later I receive it and there is no cheese. I tried to get the man’s attention, the burger makers saw I was trying to get his attention and ignored me. He took it away and went to put squeezey cheese from a bottle on (I just want a cheese burger!)He was rude will not be retuning!
