“Had a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Halfway Inn. 2 of us and we enjoyed a proper Sunday roast. Started with the tempura prawns which were light crispy & delicious.The roasts themselves were plentiful with a special mention for the gravy, which was off the charts. Despite being stuffed we had to go for the sticky toffee pudding which was outstanding with the home made fig & honey ice cream. Topped off with some lovely choices of wine & ale, with friendly service & a cozy setting it made for a fab way to spend a Sunday afternoon.”

“Food was really nicely cooked. Tasty menus, very pleasant, child friendly atmosphere. Staff all very polite and helpful. The only thing that slightly detracted from the experience was how long it took to receive each course - in total we were sat down for 2.5 hrs, which became a bit tricky with young children. I don't know whether the restaurant area was short staffed perhaps. It would not stop us coming again however, and my parents also enjoyed their meal - they were coming for the first time.”

“Great location, such a beautiful thatched property. Room was beautiful we stayed in room 1. Great value for money. Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Owner and family just lovely. Great food, especially the full english breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again if in the area.”
