Oreo scotch eggs and very good sausage rolls ? and a safe place for cycles make this place a good place for a post or during ride stop. It gets busy on a Sunday morning, a testament to how good an independent cafe it is even though it's in an unusual

I absolutely love this cafe! Always warm and welcoming, even when we straggle in after a run or walk in the rain. The owner, Debbie, is friendly and cheerful. She makes amazing cakes and a mean cooked breakfast. Special events like Puddings and Prosecco or Cheese and Wine evenings are always great fun with excellent food.Dietary restrictions: Always a gluten free cake and breakfast items available!

Wonderful cosy cafe with the most welcoming, accommodating staff. Have been here for brunch, coffees and their wonderful "pudding & prosecco" and "naughty nibbles" evenings.Generous portions of quality food - we always have to take our slab of cake away to eat later in the day! They happily accommodate for my dietary requirements and the food is always hot, fresh and I've never been "glutened" ??Can't recommend this lovely local cafe enough!

I've always passed the opportunity to go to ANY chain cafe especially as it's all manufactured food and most chains are corrupt. Supporting small family friendly businesses is something we all need to bare in mind and with Pinapple cafe not only does it get made fresh, all the cakes are homemade and selections can vary and change so it's never boring. I would rather pay for something I know that's going to fill me up and cater for my wants and Debbie will always go out of her way to do that. Keep up the great work.

5 stars every time for this place; wonderful hidden gem worth getting to - always full of people who have chosen to go there because its so good. Debbie and her team have got the place just right; the coffee is proper coffee, the cakes are handmade with a massive choice, and fry up friday is a ln absolute event.

What sets Pineapple Cafe apart is not just the impressive skill set of the owner but also the dedication to providing exceptional products at a remarkably good value. The expertise gained from a five-star experience is clearly demonstrated in every aspect of the café, making it a unique and delightful destination for anyone who appreciates quality. The owner's background as an ex-pastry chef in renowned five-star hotels, including Gleneagles, The Savoy, Grand Hotel Victoria Jungfrau in Switzerland, and several other prestigious venues, is evident in every aspect of the café. The commitment to excellence is not only reflected in the delightful variety of cakes, accommodating both vegan and Celiac preferences but also in the overall ambiance, which includes a delightful outside garden for the summer months. I have had the pleasure of attending popup events, such as the recent Nibbles and Wine evening, and each time, the experience has been nothing short of delightful. The fun and friendly atmosphere, coupled with engaging service, truly sets Pineapple Cafe apart. It is disheartening to come across unwarranted criticism, such as the recent review by Tanisha K. The owner's commitment to hygiene, evident in meticulous handwashing and sanitizing practices, far outweighs the superficial concern raised about gloves. Pineapple Café continues to be a welcoming haven, where patrons can enjoy not only exceptional patisserie creations but also the warm and friendly demeanor of the owner. I encourage others to disregard isolated criticisms and explore the numerous five-star reviews that accurately reflect the outstanding experience that awaits at Pineapple Cafe. In a world where true quality and genuine engagement are often rare, this place stands as a shining example of excellence. The owner has always been very welcoming to us, chatty and polite. I cannot understand what Tanisha K was trying to achieve, however perhaps it is simply not for IT – IT should try Asda or Morrisons chemical added mass produced fare, café or similar.

Fantastic coffee - love all of their menu iced, hot or short, great alternative milk options. Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Perfect stop on a dog walk up to Donington Castle as they love pups.

Love this cafe I tend to visit weekly. Lovely brunch menu all cooked and presented beautifully. There is always a good selection of homemade cake very generously sliced can't always manage a slice of cake following brunch so sometimes order a slice to eat later. The sausage rolls are nice, and seasoned well. Lovely mocha in a large mug. The setting of the cafe is nice and cosy and well decorated. I've always had service with a smile. I have also ordered large food spreads for family occasions and they have always been accommodating, with all food well received. After a number of visits I cannot find any fault.
