THIS IS NOT AN INDIAN RESTAURANT!!!The food was absolutely terrible, the service matched.The Lamb Karahi was the worst. The lamb had not been seared thus leaving it grey looking and the sauce was something that you would expect from a Green King pub.Samosa's were cooked from frozen but charged as if they were fresh.The chutney's provided were double the advertised cost.If you want a real authentic and tasty restaurant, go to House of Flavours in Reading Town Centre, now that's proper food!

Haven’t been before so thought we’d all try a new restarrror across the road from the pub. We all decided to have curry as we love spicy food. We had rice and curry with quite thick pancake bread which was very nice. The man gave us absolutely massive white crisps which we saw other people eating with chopped onion and mint yogurt before the food came. The girls had 5 pints of lager each and a leekyour after the meal. All in all the bill was very very reasonable. Very reasonable. Would go there again. We had a right laugh.

I have frequented the establishment on several occasions, consistently experiencing excellent meals accompanied by exemplary service. It is, in my opinion, the finest Indian restaurant in the area.

We visited spice on a Friday night, we hadn’t booked but managed to get a table, it had a great atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious! We will be returning again soon!

Came here asking for a table of 2. The place is packed! I’ve never seen an Indian restaurant so busy. The atmosphere is very lively and the staff are rushed off their feet but still very polite, nothing is ever too much and was very quick considering the restaurant was full and the line up for takeway was blocking the entrance. The food was by far the best Indian food I have had in a long time.

Honestly the best curry I’ve ever had!service was immaculate, amazing, caring staff and the food was insane! drove half an hour to get to the restaurant and was incredible. The food tastes so fresh and like it’s made with love, everything from the taste to the presentation cannot be faulted. have recommended to all family and friends and will be back very soon 10000/10!!!Vegetarian options: amazing selection of vegetarian options!Parking: free parking all outside the restaurant
