Querky and interesting. Nice little tea stop. Clean, friendly and worth a visit. We had Toasties, cake and coffee. Good quality food and nice presentation. Tables outside as well as in, plus extra seating upstairs. Give it a go.Parking: Just across the road fair sized car park and not too expensive

Amazing afternoon tea, the variety you get is great, and they all taste delicious. I can't wait to go

They have the best cakes. I went to get my favourite cake for my birthday the banana and blueberry cake. And it was amazing. I also got thier yummy pink house lemonade.

Had breakfast from the teashop twice now and both times it was delicious. Very fresh, very tasty!Haven't been in for food yet, only ordered online but will definitely be paying them a visit next time I'm in the town!

Nice place to sit, but we were completely ignored by the staff when we entered, had a very uninspiring sandwich, and genuinely one of the most stale and undrinkable cups of coffee I've ever

Friendly staff, yummy toasties and hubby said the bread pudding was so nice he had two pieces ?? Dog friendly

The vegan afternoon tea is overpriced and stale. It looks great but it's absolutely not worth the money. You are given one to share between 2 for £50 and the tea/coffee is extra.

Had an afternoon tea today with 2 friends, and the food was glorious. Had a query with the bill but the owner explained it and was very kind. I'm sure we will be back!

Lovely!

Great quaint little cafe, local produce, most things hand made, locally run and owned, the avocado on sourdough was fantastic, the cake selection also great. Served the best coffee in Newbury yesterday. Have tables upstairs as well as downstairs, in the summer you can sit outside on the canal.

Very pleasant place to stop for tea and toasted tea cakes. One niggle ... Wish they wouldn't dust the tea cake with icing sugar ?

close to lots of parking areas and on the canal with outdoor seating if you are there in warmer weather. Friendly service, good food and beautiful interior & exterior.

Had coffee and the obligitary slice of cake which was yummy and just what one needed on a cold overcast winters day. The welcome was friendly and the facilities so well decorated for Christmas, which cant help but put a smile on your face.

Had a lovely brunch here, avo on toast with loose leaf tea followed by black forest gateau cake and rose latte- was all so fresh and yummy. Really lovely and efficient service, in a peaceful, cosy setting. A new favourite me thinks!
