A real shame about the service we waited 45 minutes for 2 starters of fish cakes and chicken skewers didn't get clean cutlery for our mains and nobody asked if we wanted any more drinks the restaurant was not even busy it is a shame as the food we had was very nice but we wouldn't go back due to very poor service the staff seemed to interested in looking at there phones at the bar rather than looking after there guests

Worst Thai Food restaurant I have ever been too.Ordered Tom Yum Soup - two portions and each was different from the other in consistency and content.The Thai Green Curry was very very oily. The food was cooked by a chef with a heavy hand when oil.Noodles very soaked in stale oil and glistened in the light.Really poor experience when it comes to Thai food.Not authentic or tasty at all.Disappointing!Left the food after a few spoons and let the waitress know who said - sorry and that was it.A sheer waste of our money £56.82.A restaurant where they even charge you for the chilli sauce.Shameful!Bonus: the complimentary imperial mint washed away the oil from the mouth.Avoid.

Booked online last minute yesterday afternoon for an evening meal, as a result of google reviews, and was not disappointed. Enjoyed a delicious meal with fantastic, friendly service and I'll be sure to head straight there when I visit Newbury again. Thank you

Excellent service and food. Everything is freshly prepared and extremely tasty. The duck pancakes, whilst not Thai, were delicious. Service excellent and great advice given.

We've been to the Thai Golden Horse many times and we love it! Every friend we take here is blown away by how delicious the food is! The food here is genuinely brilliant and if you're looking for a place to eat in Newbury look no further! The furniture is also quite special as all ornately carved from wood. I'm sure we'll remain regulars at this place!

Food was nice, although portions were way smaller eating in than take away.But what really ruined it a bit for me was the fact that it really was extremely cold inside. I had to keep my coat on to eat and that wasn't very comfortable.

Best Thai food I've ever had. Beautiful decor, friendly service and outstanding food. I'd eat there every week if I could!Strongly recommend the crispy pork belly, salt and pepper squid, sweet and sour crispy seabass and the massaman curry.
