What an incredible family lunch we had. 7 of us ate and all our lunches tasted amazing. The portions were huge too which was great. Took my Mum forever to eat the ploughman's! Amazing service too. The staff couldn't do enough to help. Highly recommended. We'll be coming back to enjoy the stunning beer garden too!

Found this pub by chance, lovely characterful place with a lovely big garden & plenty for kids to play on in the summer.

We didn't spend much time in the pub at all but the garden teepee to celebrate a birthday. Was a lovely experience. Staff were there throughout taking drinks orders. Food was party buffet style. A nice time was had by all.

After a king walk we decided in an spontaneous lunch on the at home. Thinking about pubs on route I remembered the Craven Arms. Not been in there for years - we had a small baby with us - I nipped in to check if there was space and it was ok to bring him in and sit somewhere out of the way. The staff could not have been more accommodating - they went out of the way to make sure we were sat, settled, comfortable and made us feel really welcomed. We had a lovely meal, pub fish and chips and a lovely steak and ale pie - really good traditional pub food. Again staff were superb. We will certainly be back.

First visited here just before Lockdown 3 & enjoyed a festive lunch with family in the tipi. For today’s pre Xmas lunch we were inside the main pub. It’s a very traditional pub with a homely feel to it, in some areas perhaps needing a bit of a makeover, but maybe that adds to its charm. The staff were all delightful & looked like they were enjoying their work. Food was ok, nothing particularly spectacular just ok. We could have been a little unlucky when we visited as they were catering when we were there for a very large booking in the tipi. Dog friendly throughout the pub.

Arrived in a Monday evening expecting the place to be quiet but pleasantly surprised it had quite a few people in to make it a nice atmosphere. Really friendly server and quick service. Went straight in for a beef rendang which comes with rice, and two pulled pork burgers and all the trimmings. Beef was really tender and a subtle kick to the curry. Pulled pork excellent. For desserts we went for a hot butterscotch pudding and a sticky toffee pudding. You can have those with either ice cream, cream or custard. To me, the holy grail is all three providing a sweet creamy gravy around the warm sticky toffee pudding especially as the ice cream melts. Rude to ask, but our friendly server went all out (probably hates me now) and came back with a jug of custard, also of cream and a pot of ice cream. Dessert heaven. If they allow you, go for it. You will not regret it. Heart attack in a bowl. Great place, great food Will def go again. Thank you CA. Enjoy
