It's very small, but a great seating area outside in good weather. A long standing independent café

The staff members were very warm and welcoming. Atmosphere was lovely. My vegan full English was delicious. The price is incredible! Highly recommended!

Excellent freshly cooked breakfast at this cute cafe. We decided to stop off on our way up north. Much better than a motorway cafe. Small diversion into Newbury town centre. On road parking £1 and full english at £8 was great value. Very friendly staff. Free WiFi. PERFECT

LOVED this charming little place! Not many of these non-chain, independent places left it’s so special to come across one. Obviously a lot of love, care and thought has gone into this place. The food was fabulous as was the friendly service. Loved the china, the flowers and the whole ambience of the place. We shall be back! ❤️?

I’ve had breakfast here a few times, always great quality ingredients, very quick. Staff are always very friendly. Shame it’s closed on a Sunday

What a lovely little place, we found it through trip advisor as it was a little bit away from the main high street in Newbury. So far we’ve tried the ploughman’s (very nice, fresh and plenty of it), chicken and bacon salad (again very fresh, tasty and a good size) and sandwiches which were also lovely. We haven’t tried the cakes yet but they look amazing. The staff are great and it’s in a sweet little spot if you face away from the road! Our number one choice for lunch in Newbury.

I visited here on a Friday afternoon for some lunch and I had sometime to kill. For such a small place they have still managed quite a few tables outside and a few more indoors as well. I had the chicken club ciabatta which was lovely, full of chicken and bacon with a nice side salad and really reasonably priced. This with a good mug of tea was a little over £7 which I thought was good value. The waitress also kindly refilled my water bottle that I had with me. I did however get food envy when the ladies on the next table to me were served the salads they had ordered as they also looked amazing. Really friendly and helpful staff, I’m not local to Newbury but if I return it will include a visit to The Flower Pot Cafe again!
