Love this pub! Such a nice interior. Staff are amazing. Great beers and snack wall! Absolutely gutted that the brewery has messed them around and that they'll be leaving next year. Currently the best pub in Newbury - not sure what the brewery is thinking!

Great local institution with an amazing choice of craft beers and IPAs. Skillfully decorated inside with places to chat and just chill whilst enjoying your drink. I only wish they were open longer and more frequently.
This pub is fantastic! Great selection of drinks, with a comfy, friendly vibe. Colin and Katie are wonderful and make you feel welcome from the moment you set foot in the door. Dog-friendly and fun...and the Pub Quiz on Sunday evening is the best around!

I'm looking forward to this... This has been a long time coming.When I moved here in December, I've spent a fair amount of time at The Globe with my dog, George. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and having tried the vast majority of what they have to offer between them, can give you an experienced opinion of their outstanding craft beer selection (don't be scared of the stronger beers unless you're driving, they'll get it right for you!).They have expanded their already excellent spirit selection to include some personal favourites which is wonderful, they frequently get new stock as well so there is always something new to try so you won't get bored drinking here.They offer an open front as well as sofas, benches and high tables for groups in the back, they cater for most requirements, including dog bowls and a dog friendly environment with a love for what they do.They also make sure of any allergies!Love it, I look forward to coming back.
