Always an amazing meal and wonderful service from this lovely family run restaurant. Proper home cooking flavours and the best chili chutney. The Veda comes with a coconut dip that can be easily eaten on its own! Curries are always cooked fresh, not from frozen, can tell from the quality of the sauce....and the menu change guarantees different things to try every week.

A great place for good traditional Indian snacks and dish of the day. It closes around 6pm so go earlier. Nice chap runs it and bakes the food.

This is by far the best Curry I've had in a long time, the food is excellent and the staff are attentive and friendly. Highly recomend for take away or eating in. Amazing place to eat

Take out. Positives. The chapattis were the best I've ever tasted. Ask for flat rather than thin as they didn't understand the word thin! The seafood platter was incredible. Saag Baji good. Poppadoms crisp and fresh. Negatives. Mint sauce tasted a bit strange. I like dry curry like shashlik, kebab and tandoori. I asked if they did something dry but different, I also wanted firey hot. and he suggested garlic chilli chicken with the sauce to be separate which I thought was kind. It was like chicken in sugar s o thick and sticky it was awful and the sauce tasted like tomato soup, absolutely disgusting. There was absolutely no chilli in this dish and I had to chuck it as it was so awful ? it's a shame the telephonists are in such a hurry to get your order in without a care for the customers needs. Still I've learnt my lesson, just go for the ordinary, choose your number and that's it, shame.

Really enjoyed the food and service was great. Glad to have a decent curry house in Newbury again, have been travelling to Marlborough until now! Will definitely come back again

Absolutely the best curry we have had locally, if not the best curry we’ve ever had. Fresh spices, delicious dishes and very fresh. Unlike some each curry was completely unique and beautifully presented. Will be coming back again and recommending to friends and family.

Awful! Took an absolute age for my food to arrive and when it did there was hardly any meat in my dish - chicken curry 65. Garlic Naan was dry and not at all garlicky. My started was the mixed starter and that was the worst! Incredibly oily and fish items overdone and tastes as if they had been reheated multiple times. It’s relatively new so maybe it’s teething problems or no chef that night?

I just ate the yummiest chicken curry ever, nicely presented with fresh tastey garnish and a delicious chilli sauce, lime, onion and coriander. I need to try everything 5*. Thank you!

I had an exquisite dinner with Shahi Malai Tikka. Definitely an unique dishesh available from curry cave, hardly tasted else were. Highly recommend if you like grilled dashes.
