Absolutely superb Sunday lunch today and such a friendly and welcoming place. They fitted us in at short notice and we all had superb roast beef and roast pork. Desserts were also exceptional - the brownie was some of the best ever apparently. Lots of nice walks from the pub also and there's a cricket pitch right in

Love this pub. Staff are so friendly and always welcome my dog with a treat. Lovely atmosphere and a great selection of drinks. I also read the other reviews and saw the one about the staff making a mother aware that her screaming baby was ruining the evening for all the other customers…bravo to the pub staff if that’s true. I don’t go to the pub to listen to a baby screaming.

My friend and I went to The Harrow today for lunch (a treat for me on my birthday). The food and service were exceptional, a very warm welcome. We both had the 3-layer Club, chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo and avocado with sourdough served with chunky chips. We will definitely return and my friend felt as though The Harrow was somewhere she could go on her own and feel comfortable.

Loved this pub. Perfectly situated for a walk on the Ridgeway. Really welcoming staff, even when we were just walking past the Landlady said hello which only added to the welcome later.Great choice of food, clearly freshly made. Highly recommend the Korean chicken burger- authentic and delicious.Pub is clearly newly decorated- tastefully done, cosy without losing the village pub feel. Dog friendly with water and treats!

Food is absolutely amazing. We'll definitely go back. Service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait. It's family friendly and the staff are really nice and lovely. It's probably the best food we've had in the area.

This is absolutely not a family pub, do not take any children here!!!! One of the landlords shockingly told my sister in law to keep her one year old quiet as EVERY SINGLE person in the pub has complained at her excited squealing. My sister in law was so upset and made to feel embarrassed as she was trying everything anyway to keep her one year old quiet and happy, she then ended up crying. We were made to feel terrible about it, on top of that they also ignored us and didn’t come to the table once to serve us drinks! The food was not worth the money even though we tried to salvage a good time after the upset! Very average food for above average prices! Very very upsetting experience, will not be going back even though we are local- ish. Absolute shame! On top of this we pre ordered food and were made to feel so bad and awkward that we left before puddings came out and they still charged us for the puddings!!! If you have kids avoid, if you want fine dining avoid, if you want pub grub avoid! I think local villagers are only welcome here I’m afraid

A wonderful village pub serving delicious food. I'm not sure what to say but this was one of the best pub meals I've had in a while. The gravy was great! Proper gravy is always great fantastic triple cooked chips too and a pie that was a real pie. My only complaint was some people having too much fun which is a bit Scroogey I know but they were very loud
