Outstanding service from start to finish! We arrived very late as we were travelling after work from up north on a Bank Holiday Friday, the host was super friendly and had waited up for us to arrive. There was a mix up with the room- which was completely my fault- I had booked the wrong room but the host was so accommodating and went out of her way to get us a zedbed and bedding late at night and brought it to our room (for my son). Large family meal pre wedding.We were a party of 17 and we all know that a restaurant table(s) for this number are difficult to find. The team at the Pheasant were able to set aside a very pleasant area for us all. Starters and mains had by all, including special dietary requests. The food was excellent. Rooms dated, bathroom dire and needs replacing. No toiletry replacement for 2nd night, one teabag/coffee/sugar each, not enough. Food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Staff pleasant.
