Really good independant cafe. Good food, good coffee in a small, friendly cafe in a courtyard. Well worth a visit.

Lovely local one off cafe, staff are wonderful, great selection of meals and cakes and it's fantastic at a good price, why go to a Costa or Nero when you can get better and cheaper at a local run place like this,

Loved this quaint little gem of a place. Found it down in the middle of a few hidden shops. It was very busy, so normally means good. Had a table ready in minutes, coffee order taken. Also had a sausage roll and tea cake. Coffee was good, food was good and prices matched.

The worst breakfast I have ever ever ever had!!! Firstly..The service provided by Heidi(?? )from SA was excellent, I cant fault her in any way. However, the food was awful. I ordered the small breakfast £6.80 ( Eggs, Bacon,Sausage,Beans,Black-Pud,Toast) I also ordered a pot of tea. I declined the beans and asked for extra bacon..The plate arrived as follows..1 cheap sausage, 1 scrambled (limpid) eggs, 1 Tiny black pud, 2 rashers of tasteless bacon, and 1 teeny slice of brown toast!!!! Where was the extra bacon?? The portion was tiny, tasteless and just looked cheap and nasty. The brown sauce in the sachet was disgusting. When I went to pay, the total was £9.10..I did not realise the Tea was extra!! For me £10 for a breakfast like that is a total rip-off. I don't mind paying if the taste and quality are good, but sadly not the case in this cafe. I rarely write bad reviews, but in this case I felt it needs to be highlighted. Such a disappointment, a full english is not exactly difficult to cook.

I had my favourite lunch today, salad platter with tuna. It never disappoints. It was very busy but the staff are always very helpful and cheerful. There are many places to eat in Newbury but I always go back here when I'm in town

Very good service, very conivial atmosphere. Remered me from previous visits some time ago. Even if the food required is not exactly on the menu, they do their best to accomodate.
