Ordered a big celebration meal for the family which came to £66 including an alleged "discount", via JustEat. Phoned them ten minutes after it was supposed to have arrived and was told it would be five minutes. Nothing for an hour, so called again and was told five more minutes again. Waited another 30 minutes and still no food, so cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Apparently they'd lost the order in the system, and all the claims of "five minutes", and "it's on its way" were complete works of fiction. Phone manner also left a lot to be desired. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ALI ? BABA!

The delivery was slightly sooner than expected which was nice and the delivery driver was nice. But the quality of the food is rather shocking. I ordered a tikka masala and what I received was a artificial looking pink/red slop that was sickly sweet and I had to throw it all away and I feel sick now.

Ordered on JustEatGot the vegetable curry, chana masala, plain naan bread, pilau rice, and vegetable samosas. The food arrived on time and was at the perfect temperature. Side salad and the sauce were nice and fresh. Decent portions.The naan bread was well flavored, soft, and very bendable which was excellent. It was slightly burnt on one side but that didn't impact the experience thankfully.The Chana Masala on the other hand had a nice aromatic profile but it was really on the dry side and the chickpeas felt overcooked.The vegetable curry was on the plain side. A more savory profile or some spice would have improved the experience a lot but I'm glad that the vegetable variety was good and the curry wasn't dry like the Chana Masala.The rice was nice, very fluffy and cooked perfectly.Samosas were decent but really on the soft side, and they could have been seasoned better.Overall an alright meal but not the type of experience that will have me ordering from here next week. I might give this place a go again in the future to see if the food became more flavourable and less bland.

So the wife and I have just had a very large take out from here and whilst I was there I spoke to a really nice guy who said they had just taken over so I thought, ok, let's see if the food is as good as before. Well, I have to say it was much better and, in fact, one of the best Indian Takeaways we have had. This is definitely going to be a regular for us. Excellent.

Food is oily .The quantity is very less but the takeaway box looks full , the trick they use for they put lots of around 10 raw big tomato slices in the curry so the box looks fuller .That means it has less curry n lots of row tomato slices in it.Very smart trick but that doesn't work .I am not ordering now anymore.

Amazing food, and on-time delivery.I was skeptical of whether they would delivery on time in Newbury or not, but to my surprise, they did.Quantity of food was sufficient too.Taste wise as well very good, you can tell them to customise the food as well.I recommend to definitely try once, if you haven't ordered from them. They are under new mgmt now, and my best wishes to the new team.Vegetarian options: They have enough Veg options.

Ordered direct from the Ali Baba website, were told our food would be 40 mins. An hour and a half later we called them and a very rude member of staff just kept saying “WHAT” when we asked how much longer our delivery would be, eventually told 5 mins, obviously that’s all he can say! Another 20 mins later , food arrived ok , but chicken in the currys very tough and had obviously been reheated. We didn’t eat this , but both my husband and I have been ill through the night, food poisoning symptoms. With the prices they charge you expect quality food. Furious we wasted our money and are both ill. ?
