“I'm a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur, the first time I came to the mug and brew was yesterday and i have to say the staff were extremely helpful.I asked for a coratdo but I asked for a freshly washed jug and they were happy to oblige. I tried a biscoff cheese cake and it was the best cheese cake I have ever had.I am disabled and everything was accessible for disabled people.I have recommended this to my coffee clubI suggested a alternative blend as current coffee won't be to everyone's taste.. they have taken my suggestion on board to supply a smoother blend.I do live 15 miles away yet this hidden gem has become my regular”

“I had a lovely time at the cafe with my 4 year old son. He hadn’t eaten properly for a couple of days prior as he was under the weather & today he got his appetite back & asked for the small English Breakfast. I was really impressed he ate well & tried everything & Marillia was kind enough to swap the bacon for a hash brown. My son also got a pack of pens to colour with & a squirt with a pretend ketchup bottle! I found the staff were so attentive & friendly & they gave him the works on a milkshake with cream & marshmallows etc. He loved the range of toppings to chose from. We had a lovely breakfast and I left feeling very stuffed. The coffee was amazing ? Thank you for amazing service & a lovely breakfast x”

“This is our local Costa and we don't normally use a café so close to home, but it was raining, so we took a break and a coffee here. It is just as any Costa Coffee should be, predictable but reliable. They were cleaning even the ceiling lamps when we were there, so they must take cleanliness seriously, even though some tables needed to be cleared. Happy to come back again when it rains.”
