I'm a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur, the first time I came to the mug and brew was yesterday and i have to say the staff were extremely helpful.I asked for a coratdo but I asked for a freshly washed jug and they were happy to oblige. I tried a biscoff cheese cake and it was the best cheese cake I have ever had.I am disabled and everything was accessible for disabled people.I have recommended this to my coffee clubI suggested a alternative blend as current coffee won't be to everyone's taste.. they have taken my suggestion on board to supply a smoother blend.I do live 15 miles away yet this hidden gem has become my regular

Lovely independent coffee shop definitely always support out local companies. I find that the other big brands arent as nice and the food especially the cakes are amazing.

Came here for brunch with my family. Really good atmosphere. The food was delicious and top quality ingredients. Nice big pot of tea and the kids loved their milkshakes. Brooke and Charlie are so welcoming and friendly.Dog friendly too with treats at the ready. Can’t wait to visit again.

Great breakfast and service. Was passing through the area and stopped here for breakfast. Had a delicious ham and cheese croissant and hubby had smashed avocado toast. Both delicious. Served with decent pot of tea. Perfect!

A great place for a nice bite to eat for lunch or burch, it's not the biggest but we'll worth a visit with some incredible cakes to choose from too!

A wonderful remedy for awful chain store coffee and cakes to die for. The store has a lovely ambience and is exceptionally clean even on a busy day. Go out of your way to fuel up here

Great local independent coffee shop. Food a little pricey but much better in every way than a chain coffee shop. Coffee is far superior.

The best coffee shop in Thatcham! Delicious homemade cakes and friendly and helpful staff. Worth a visit, but go early for the best selection of cake!

Go here regularly for Espresso and Hot chocolate for the toddler. (The hot chocolate, no espresso for the toddler, please)Great welcoming staff, they've always time for everyone. I've seen them interacting with some of the elderly folks and they clearly are happy to be fast freinds with their clientelle.Coffee is really good, they get their beans in from a small London roasters, and the baristas are up to scratch. Not tried the food, but cakes look great.A bit cramped on the inside, but it's cosy, and you can easily chat with other cafe-goers, which adds to the community vibe they have created. They've got a good few tables inside, but do table service so people aren't tripping over one another.I would say having one good easy spot for a wheelchair goer might be a boon, as I know my wife wouldn't want to go in with her electric wheelchair for fear of smashing 3 tables on her way to the till.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming for kids, marshmallow hot chocolates all round, maybe not a huge space for prams but there's space to pop them just off the street and maybe within sight.
