Lovely staff and great choice of snacks/ cakes and coffees including vegan ones. Just wish someone would deep clean the toilets as they are pretty dire. Otherwise can’t fault the place for atmosphere and hard working staff.

First off, the positives.Friendly, welcoming, and professional staff. Great coffee. Clean, tidy premises. All food items are well-presented. Everywhere is a good place to sit. There is plenty of space. I love the fact dogs are allowed to come in and make themselves at home. The toilet facilities are spacious, well-appointed, and clean. There is a noticeboard towards the back of the shop for local events, which is a nice touch.The negative.The cake is terrible, and for the price (nearly £4) it should be better. I don't know whether they freeze it and let it defrost, but it had an unpleasant taste. Almost an 'off' taste. The topping (on both slices) however, tasted good. They were left almost completely uneaten. It's a shame because they looked delicious. That's not the first time this has happened, either.I will return to Coffee#1 in Woodley because the place had a good vibe, and the coffee was excellent. However, I shall stick to other food items on the menu.

I have been here many times before and have had great service and have often been for tea and cake, but on the last two visits i have been disappointed to be told that the cakes on display are all frozen and unavailable to purchase. Surely they should not be defrosting on display where everyone queues up and chooses their cakes only to be told when they order one that none are available. I was very disappointed and decided to go next door to Costa Coffee instead. It’s a shame because the cakes I have eaten here in the past are delicious, but will be wary of coming here again.

Staff got rude and discriminated me for using the disabled toilet when I have a disability and also tryed to get rude on the phone when I called and asked for an apology
Despite being really busy, service was quite fast and due to staff quickly clearing tables, we had somewhere to sit. Cappuccino cake was delicious.

The ambience was so pleasant and heart warming just like their staff. Special mention to staff Saara for the hospitality and kindness provided. This will be my go to cafe from now.

They no longer do their filter coffee (which was always great) so I asked for a black americano, with some cold water in the top to stop me scalding my mouth. I instantly scalded my mouth, with the hottest liquids known to man.
