Came to Bristol to see Gipsy Kings. Thought a Sunday roast would be the perfect start. Oops no beef roast ...... on a Sunday!!!. OK glass of wine....... oops no New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. BUT, we have French ..... really?Thought we would then move onto the full menu asked for Fillet Steak....... oops no Fillet BUT we have Rib Eye...... really? And, a duster would be a good investment. If the front of house isn't cleaned hate to think what the back of the house is like.Understand the waiter offering the alternatives but when the owner does so without an apology it was time to find another restaurant and thank goodness we did 100yrds down the road Cocina Argentina is how a restaurant should be run.

What a fantastic venue. Greeted at the door by a super friendly matradee who led us up to our table in a busy bustling restaurant and introduced us to our server. Staff were so efficient and helpful, obliging and smiling. The food was excellent ? delicious. Oysters were a joy. Great selection of wine and drink. Really recommend this place and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Sophie and Gabby have looked after us today. They provided 5 star service and the upmost customer care. Always smiling and very attentive. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend.

Formal dining in a relaxed setting, the food is amazing- the four of us ordered very different items from the beautiful menu and every dish was fantastic. Highlights were the scallops (beautifully fresh and complimented by a fantastically balanced chorizo and cauliflower dressing), the lamb shank which was so stunningly slow roasted that it could be eaten with just a fork and a deliciously sticky toffee pudding balancing a light and fluffy sponge with a lashings of wonderfully wicked toffee sauce. Wine selection was fantastic as you would expect and this was all embraced by attentive service that made you feel like you were the only person in the dining room. If you eat nowhere else in Bristol, then eat here...........

Excellent experience at Aqua grand Café located on Whiteladies Road. Jamie the head chef is fantastic. The food is fantastic quality and very tasty, is also very reasonably priced. The service is fantastic and the waiters do their best to make you feel special. I would highly recommend amazing restaurant in Bristol.

Thanks Natalia for warm serving us throughout the lunch. Leave us sufficient time on understanding the menu. Not treating us as monster when we asked for hot water (to drink). The sincere smile comforting us a very nice dinning atmosphere. The food is good. We ordered three oysters. A sea brass as main. A fillet - medium rare. And a seafood linguine. Brownie as dessert. Only regret is mum had not ordered tea. ?. I have had my espresso which is as enlightening as it stated. Very aromatic. Overall, we are happy with the lunch. And would like to send our special thanks to Natalia. ❤️❤️❤️???Kid-friendliness: Can see they could provide milk for kids. (With straw) so thoughtful ??

Service was fine. Atmosphere, hard to tell as we were on a first floor mezzanine. Food was ok, more pub grub than restaurant. Scallops burned but still soft enough, mains were cold. Cocktails were just bad. Mojito very watery and all in all, way too pricey for what was on offer. Menu very limited and basic. Try elsewhere and we won't be back.

Excellent Sunday lunch with impeccable service and warm and welcoming atmosphere. Second time I've been and this is up there with Bristol's best places to eat.

Exceptional service from Ben and the team. We dropped in without a reservation and were made to feel very welcome. Food was excellent. Deserts are stunning. Can't wait to go back!

Wanted somewhere special for a birthday and thrilled with our experience. Welcoming and friendly entrance, our waiter Jeremy was perfect. Attentive but not intrusive. He made the evening feel really personal and special. The food was delicious; cooked perfectly and served with flair, accompanied by fab cocktails! It really was the perfect evening and everything we'd hoped for. The team, ambience, attention to detail (and obviously food quality!) were absolutely spot on. Highly recommend

Exceptional. We came here 3 years ago for a wedding anniversary, this time with our two children and we were blown away. Ben the owner was amazing, made us feel very welcome immediately. The service is lovely, attentive but without feeling over the top. Topping our glasses up when necessary, friendly, knowledgeable. The food is incredible. Would recommend the brisket croquettes, and the pork belly bbq bites! The quality of the food is amazing all round, and finally a restaurant that does decent children’s food. The presentation of the kids pastas and the quality of the pizzas - brilliant. The wife had the ribeye steak which was great quality and value. I’d say this was very very good value and our new favourite not a bad word to say! Also what a lovely a lovely venue. Definitely coming back thank you!
