I was surrounded by THREE of your security guards after leaving longwell green Asda today.I had made a transaction which as far as I knew went through, and then promptly went back into the store after realising I wanted to buy another pizza (hardly the actions of a thief) , which I then paid for. On my way out I was then accosted by Alistair who said my payment hadn't gone through because the system had froze. I then showed him the receipt for the transaction I had just carried out with authorisation code which totally confused him, but then it was ME who admitted to HIM that I was in here a few minutes ago and maybe it was the first one that didn't go through. I opened my banking app and neither transaction was showing yet and asked him which transaction it was supposed to be. After a few minutes of confusion he then suggested that I go and stand in the customer services line (with about 10 people) and get my shopping rescanned. I said no way am I waiting in that as a) you don't know what I have and haven't paid for and b) I have a 1 year old waiting outside for me. I offered to give him my details repeatedly for them to ring me once they knew exactly which transaction it was, what the amount was and what was going on.He then rang someone "upstairs" who was asking me to wait, at which point I said take my contact details or I'm leaving. This was ignored, I then started to walk out and once I got outside I was originally pulled up by 2 security guards, with another goon walking up to us to make even more of a scene, even though I wasn't trying to run off and even though I repeatedly told them to call the police if there's an issue as I'd made every attempt to work with them.Eventually they worked out that it was my first transaction that hadn't gone through, I went in and paid it, (and your system froze on me twice while I did it.)Who do I speak to about your cowardly and incompetent staff and security who embarrassed me and intimidated me unnecessarily? I'm not going to let this rest and Ill take it as far as it can goI asked for an address to write to, there isnt one apparently, just a number which no-one answers, so I want to know who I can raise this with formally.

How can it take nearly 40 minutes to serve food with four staff members on? When it did finally come out it was cold and they had forgotten two plates of pancakes that we ordered!!The staff were prioritised over the customers which made the queue very long!Something needs to be done it is ridiculous.

Disappointing cafe. Waiting time is more than 1hr and 30mins in weekend.

Quite possibly the worst supermarket cafe I’ve ever been to. They were literally washing cups up as they go . Asda if your not going to do something properly get Greg’s in or something

Friendly staff (Alison and Sue) and excellent customer service and variety of stock.

Ruth Dowden

Staff are rude and the store is a mess.

Cafe upstairs leaves much to be desired. Nothing in the menu in stock bar brunch and then waited over an hour only for nothing to arrive. Noticed no one in the place was being served at all so in the end just walked out. Terrible experience. Will never return. Affordable doesn't have to mean nasty but it seems ASDA have yet to learn this.

Last year did click and collect and they had no Brussel sprouts. So this year wanted to go in and pick up items myself, no turkey crowns, no Christmas pudding or cranberry sauce. Really bad stock management.

Doing the Christmas Food Shop yesterday 22/12 @ 4pm was more than challenging. Shelves empty, had my voucher to spend but could hardly find anything I wanted that I ended up going to another 2 supermarkets to finish off as did my daughter. I’ve not had this situation 2 days before Christmas before. Also could you explain to the Personal Shoppers that’s manners cost nothing and they could make room for other shoppers so could they be careful and not think they automatically have ‘ right of way ‘

What is wrong with people. Its a supermarket! This Asda is local to us and we use it pretty much all the time. The new rewards program is good and way better than clubcard. All supermarkets have the challenge of keeping shelves stocked. People who so their Xmas shopping on the Christmas weekend, that's your risk for not being organised.I'm not really a fan of the new layout as you walking spare but that's more for the home stuff.Great craft beer selection range (used to be terrible). Can get what we want. Use click and collect now and again too.Happy Christmas!

I have shopped here for years even though at times alot of shelves are empty or they stop selling a product I use. This morning I was up early and looked at the opening times online which I discovered were wrong and there is no email to contact you. Please correct these.
