The atmosphere is lovely, the snacks available are great, the selection of games available is plentiful and the staff is nice.Added to this, it's in Christmas steps, which is a lovely spot in Bristol.Definitely recommended.”
Bar • “One of the best student friendly pubs in town. I really enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. Each day has its own offers and they all are student friendly. The staff is very friendly and there is a lot of space around. Hands down one of the best pubs in Bristol.”

Bar • “What an incredible place! Where do I start? The food was incredible, it was a real taste of Spain! The wine was fantastic. We cannot fault anything about this place. We went for a romantic couples meal and it was perfect. There were others there for a casual bite to eat and drink which it would also be perfect for. The staff were so lovely and happy to help me with my very minimal spanish. Lots of Spanish people and locals, which says a lot about a place! It was like stepping out of Barcelona. We can't wait to come back!”
Bar • “The portions were too little unfortunately. A really small tea and the pasta was not enough as a main meal, the taste was delicious though. We ordered a soup but ‘the last bit of soup had fallen’ and they didnt had any soup left. So we took the pasta. We didn’t get any cutlery, so we took it ourselves. For such a small place there should be more attention to such details. A small cozy place but no wow effect for this price.”

Bar • “Licensed since 1832, this cosy street corner, 2 room, wood panelled pub in Hotwells transferred from the Bath Ales estate around 2016 to be run by Mike Wilkins and his family. This is what a traditional pub is all about with a good landlord at the helm. Quiet, no machines, log fire in winter, where good beer and conversation are the order of the day. 4 real ales in excellent condition from £3-50/pt. The pub is famous for its old school food: Pork pies, Pasties, Scotch eggs, plus some well filled rolls at just £1-50. A gem not to be missed and best on the Cumberland Basin crawl.”
Bar • “Lovely pub and well kept beer. Lots of very nice cars driving up and down looking to park - Audi's and Astons - although the electric Porsche with the fake engine noise coming from.speakers , that just made me laugh ?”
“Stopped in for a mid week meal. We had the burger deal and it was brilliant value for money! Our server, Emma was super friendly and attentive. In fact all the staff were friendly and polite, even the girl who brought our drinks over (I think her name was Nicky)!”
