Went there today ,saw a woman taste the soup by the ladle and put the rest back to the pot again. It was disgusting

My partner and I visited Beijing Hot Pot last night for a delicious Szechuan chicken dinner. Beijing Hot Pot is known for having the best hot pot in Bristol, which is what drew us in initially. We arrived around 6pm and were enjoying our starters when suddenly a booming noise erupted from next door. It sounded like a rave was happening right beside us! My partner went to investigate and discovered the source was actually a concert going on at the neighboring Indian restaurant, Haveli. An odd mix of violin and Spanish music was blaring, which made for an unpleasant dining background. The noise didn't ruin our meal entirely, but it certainly wasn't ideal ambiance for hot pot. The food was as amazing as always though. We made sure to leave a generous £20 tip for the staff who had to work through that audio disruption. Overall it was a tasty dining experience, despite the musical mayhem next door!

Unassuming but the best food in the city, of any kind. Utterly incredible food.

Amazing food in simple settings. Very different to typical Chinese restaurants or take aways in the uk. Good for vegetarians/vegans, too!

Don’t go here when the temperature is above 25 degree. Otherwise you would have spicy food at a sauna… quite bad experience. To me, I expect to much when I saw the mark here. Disappointed meal…

Just what I needed on a cloudy, wet, post- bank holiday Tuesday after a wonderful two-hour city walking tour. The beef hot pot was delicious and the service uncomplicated, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

Excellent! Cant recommend enough :) Very generous portions for a good price. Food is good quality, made with love and too delicious. Served quickly. Friendly staff. There is a student vibe at lunch. Great place to go again!

Great food, the spicy broth has loads of flavour, depth to the flavour, tastes like it has been worked on for a long time. Will definitely be returning for some more lunch next time we're in Bristol.

Obsessed. The cooking pot dishes are made with a lot of love and care and tbh the main dish I always get is the lamb slice soup so that’s the main one I can comment on! The broth is delicious and natural, served with enoki mushrooms, Chinese cabbage/pal choi, noodles and of course the lamb. Really delicious, and generous portions. Staff very friendly and happy to cater to allergies (were very careful with my nut allergy).

Delicious delicious. This was our first visit. The meal was so fresh and the portions very generous. The pork dumpling appetiser and the spicy fish noodles were the showstoppers. The cooking pot dishes were large so plenty to share. Highly recommend a visit to experience the authentic food.

Delicious flavoursome food! Spicy fish with rice is a favourite and the Mapo tofu is great. Great for lunch. Would definitely recommend.
