Let us book online for a group of 8 of us around 9pm got to the restaurant and it was closing at 10pm so had to rush to order and eat our food super fast!Everything we tried to order wasn't available due to it closing soon and the chef turning ovens and grills off etc. Received fries freezing cold. Pizza looked like it had been reheated was disappointing. Was a joke.Never would return

At first things started well... We were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful member of the team. I would presume he was the manager. We were quickly seated and advised to have starters the same time as our main to allow plenty of time to get to our show afterwards. The food arrived, we each had pizzas, nice and simple... They looked lovely, however they were SO bland! There was just no flavour to any of it! I had the vegetarian which has onions and balsamic glaze, so you would expect it to be full of flavour... But there was just nothing. It didn't taste bad, but it also didn't taste good, itJust tasted of nothing. My husband had a meat feast, his was exactly the same, bland! The rest of the staff were friendly enough, but service after being given our food was pretty non existent. We waited ages to get our bill.Overall, The place it's self was nice enough, but the food was so bland and boring! Absolutely not worth the price! Unfortunately, we won't be visiting here again.

Fab meal with cocktails. Great service. We turned up at a busy time without pre-booking, but the very pleasant waitress squeezed us in. This place is always popular and it is easy to understand why. Food is fresh and tasty. Something for everyone .

Was served by Chris today as we stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was hot and came out quick.

Pre-theatre dinner on a night out. Welcoming staff who checked that we were going to the theatre so they were aware of potential timing issues. Food arrived speedily without feeling rushed. Lovely atmosphere and excellent food. It was the best part of the evening

Amazing night at Bella Italia. Our server, Carys, was kind, attentive and friendly the entire time. We had the pasta with meatballs and the pasta carbonara as mains and they were wonderful. Can definitely recommend the tomato bruschetta with mozzarella as well as the dough balls with mozzarella as well. Definitely recommend!Dietary restrictions: Lots of attention to allergens.

Great reasonably priced food. The staff were attentive although a little slow when it got busy (understandable but probably could have done with another member of waiting staff). Good atmosphere as was full and everyone seemed to be having a nice evening and enjoying the food. Will definitely return when going to the hippodrome as it is situated just across the road. Also has reasonable selection of gluten free options.

I was out with my friends for dinner around 8:30pm, the food was okay but we felt we were rushed out by the staff. I understand the staff want to close the restaurant but they made us feel unwanted in the process. If they want to close at 9:30 they shouldn’t allow food bookings until 8:45pm.

Really enjoyed a birthday celebration. Staff accommodated our request for a different table and were attentive, at just the right level! Only issue was lots of small flies around our table.

Really lovely restaurant with a nice and cosy vibe. The waiters were excellent and were so speedy with giving us our food and drinks. Loved the interior as well!Dietary restrictions: One member of our party is a coeliac and they had lots of gluten free options.

When our party of 10 arrived the table was not ready so we had to stand around getting in the way until it was. Once seated we had to ask for menus. After that things were ok, no enquiries if things were ok or if there is anything else we required like drinks, we had to ask. Food was nothing special I had calamari for starters which was dry and a calzone for mains. I wouldn't rush to return.

Service and location were excellent, the place was almost completely empty but it was a Sunday evening so that’s perhaps not surprising. Food was overall good, except for the pasta that came with my chicken, which was cold. Given the place was 90% empty I don’t know why they struggled to make hot pasta. On the plus side it was reasonably priced.Wheelchair accessibility: One level, so accessible throughout

A very enjoyable meal before our visit to the Hippodrome. Good and friendly service. The ladies toilet wasn’t too good though. A very unpleasant smell and no soap. Not very nice for such a good restaurant.
