This place is the Best - however busy, Ishmael is always cool, calm, collected and smiling whilst the girls frantically try to keep up with packing the orders as they pile in. Order early if it is for Friday or Saturday evening to stay ahead of the game.

I don't know why this fish & chips shop has so many 5 star ratings. I've been on 3 separate occasions & had what I class as poor food each time. The fish is great quality, the batter is way too thick & hard. The chips are also hard & kinda chewy on the outside.I prefer light crispy batter. I like my chips soft & fluffy in the middle with a light crispy outer. This is something that you don't get at Bishopston fish bar.The staff are always super friendly & the service is good but slow.I don't think I'll be back again. I know of way better fish & chips shops, so I'll stick to the places I know I enjoy.

Bought just chips today 22 Dec 23 it was worst ever chips. Chips was cooked long ago and oil not been changed recently. It was too salty and quiet frankly thrown in the bin. Not recommending.
