Excellent friendly and helpful service from our server George. George took his time explaining the menu when asked. The ambience was warm friendly and relaxed . The food was served hot and exceeded our expectations for a very reasonably priced Festive menu.

Fantastic meal with absolutely top rate service by Debbie. She went out of the way to make it a pleasant dining experience for everyone in our party. Their Gluten-Free menu is one of the best I’ve experienced. We had a brilliant time

The worst meal I have ever had . Pate lots of it but one small piece of bread !!Christmas dinner veg rock hard stuffing tasteless just thrown on a plate . Apple pie obviously warmed in microwave pastry was soggy and tasted raw . Cheese board was some chunks of cheese thrownon a white oven dish . No till at the bar so had to walk across the pub to pay . One elderly waitress that was run off her feet .. I was so disappointed there was no Christmas atmosphere

Victoria and another member of staff was absolutely amazing food was absolutely amazing and really nice ,was very festive and very friendly atmosphere would go back
Came here for something to eat and after the service we received won't be coming back. Dismall and sub standard is being polite. Only 1 person serving who eventually took the order for drinks and considering there was at least 10 other tables to serve. Then eventually another person came to help they took our order, wrote it on a scrap piece of paper but couldn't get that right. When the food came out that was okay the chef done a nice job. I had to ask for the rest of the meal which still hadn't arrived. The chef know there was more but the server's said there wasn't, then looked on the screen. The chef said told you. My advice is only come here if your desperate and there's no where else to go

One person saved this review from being bad...... Victoria! The order was taken by a gentleman called Mark and for various reasons there were issues. Victoria (possibly the manager?) came over to try and help to rectify the problem. The meal arrived and despite ordering gluten free, the meal came with a Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and a pig in blanket which all contained gluten....luckily my dining companion had the sense to double check. Victoria to the rescue again, she personally oversaw that a new meal was cooked - without gluten! Then after a problem free pudding, came the bill. I paid promptly but then noticed that the fixed price Xmas meal had been charged as individual dishes and the cocktail deal discount was also missing from the bill (my fault for not checking before paying) but once again Victoria came flying in and provided the refund needed. This lady deserves a medal as the whole time we sat there, she seemed to be doing the work of five people and all whilst keeping a professional outlook. Also she had apparently been on shift for 15 hours at the time we were leaving. Well done Victoria, you definitely earnt your money tonight.

We enjoyed a really good time here on Monday 13th November. Victoria was great, lovely lady and a such a good host. The food was excellent, hot, tasty and plentiful. We haven't visited a Beefeater in a very long time but we will definitely be back the next time we visit Bristol.

Absolutely disgusting - one of three people in there and the service made it seem like serving us was a burden. Ordered lasagne - tasted disgusting. Really disappointed.
