Awful experience ? been waiting an hour for food, restaurant isn't busy and staff haven't kept us updated. Food was chased and only after asking did the bruschetta come out (not hard to make). Lunch finally turned up and pasta was like warm. Not impressed won't be visiting again.

Not impressed. £14.95 for a Caesar salad that consisted of a few baby gem leaves, what would equate to half a small chicken breast and something sprinkled on top which were inedible. Will not be repeating my visit.

Went for coffee, had to send back it wasn't made up to coffee standards £3.70 for a coffee that tasted like it came out of a machine, told staff the machine needs adjusting on a regular basis ......

Over priced. Poor staff didn’t know what they were doing. Seated at a table next to the bar bin and then took 20 mins to take an order. The food was very average.Staff need to be trained properly and whoever the manager was needs to manage the team.Won’t bother going again and wouldn’t recommend it.

NO HOT BREAKFAST AGAIN!!!Sometimes there not even open! They need to make their mind up if there going be a resturant, or just close down, and stop messing customers about!!!

It’s a pity I didn’t read previous reviews as we would have avoided. The Carbonara (one of the few items that they were actually serving) was terrible. Scrambled eggs and spaghetti is the only way to describe it. The lovely staff deducted it from the bill and I was offered dipping bread on the house to compensate which was appreciated, but they obviously have not acted on the previous complaints regarding the quality of this dish. Mr Carluccio must be turning in his grave.

Went to have breakfast but yet again ( 2nd time at least). No chef so no breakfast. Seems to be an ongoing issue. It is a shame because usually quite good.

Whilst the service provided was friendly and polite, the meals provide very poor value for money. I had the Chicken Milanese which comprised a dry piece of chicken covered in breadcrumbs, two tomatoes and a bowl of lettuce with no dressing. I will not be returning and would suggest that others think very carefully before eating here when there is so much choice at The Mall.

Have not been to Carluccio’s for a few years, sadly they are not what they once were, the food is bland and poorly served. For a place that charge the amount they do and for the memory of Carluccio himself this should be far better quality in food and service.I would advise you avoid this branch, it’s not working for so many reasons.

Place was absolutely humming. Lovely friendly efficient staff. Good value. Also had voucher with 50% off

Wouldn't bother, it's like they don't want your money. Told no space (only one chef) and would have to come back in an hour. Stood there and watched plenty of people be seated. Can only think the manager wasn't to keen on a wheelchair being there, as this is the second time we have been turned away. So we headed to waggamama- perfect welcome, friendly, helpful staff- as always!

Lovely place, went there for breakfast. Lots of choices for gluten free. Good money value. They had good deals. The waitress forgot to add the discount but quickly sorted when reminded.

Booked a table via the Carluccio's website for the Cribbs Causeway restaurant, for 5.45pm. Arrived and ordered drinks to then be told around 6pm they were closing early as they had a chef shortage, so we rushed to order.Shared 2 starters, the meatballs and bruschetta. The meatballs were barely warm, so were sent back. The bruschetta was basically tasteless tomatoes on bread, not a hint or garlic and barely any basil. Thankfully the cost was removed from our bill. The mains were OK. However the Chicken Milanese is extremely overpriced for what was essentially breaded chicken (no hint of rosemary in the breadcrumbs), a smattering of rocket and gem lettuce, with 3 halves of baby tomatoes. I would not book another. With every increasing costs, I would rather spend money elsewhere and ensure I am getting the quality I am paying for.
