On a lovely sunny morning, I tried out Catley’s for the first time. I had a croissant and a black americano, and enjoyed sitting outside with both.
The croissant was really nice. The pastry was crispy and flaky just as you’d want, but the nice touch was the glaze which had a hint of citrus in it that worked really nicely without being overpowering. I recommend trying it!

Coffee was alright. Biscoff bun was massive but personally I hope there’ll be more biscoff spread in the bun. I could not stop praising the egg custard tart. It is the smoothest egg custard tart I've ever had in my life with the perfect amount of cardamom dusting on top. Please try it if you pay a visit.

The best independent bakery in Clifton! Friendly staff, the most mouth-watering lemon meringue pie EVER, and their pan au chocolats are the best I have ever tasted (including from my trips to France!). Highly recommend, do not pass on this one.
