Pretty standard co op store, but well placed, very convenient as in conjunction with the nearby Tesco's, the two will almost always have just what I am looking for. I like the addition of a clear reduced to clear section to reduce food waste and honestly adds a bit of fun to the shop seeing if there's anything good in.

Utter rubbish, I can’t remember a worse dining experience, on the bright side the staff were very pleasant.

There are a few weird reviews on here, but I wouldn't take too much notice of them. This is a nice store, always stocked unless there are issues nationally and the staff are perfectly nice

There is a shortage of restaurants serving Sunday dinner. This was one of the few. The staff were excellent, finding us a table and being attentive. The place was nice too, if a bit rundown - tape over the splits in the plastic-covered 'sofas,' for instance. The food was disappointingly tasteless. Still, we got dinner...

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the staff were incredibly attentive. It was clear that the team work exceedingly well together. Our server was very eloquent, and was on the ball, making sure we received the best service possible. Will definitely recommend this restaurant. Made our dinner a joyous occasion, will be back soon.

Had a lovely time here on Thursday when I stopped here for a couple of starters and a drink with my mother. I would really recommend the chilli cheesy garlic bread. We were served by Ana who was really attentive and a lovely waitress. Thank you !

Weird little chap on the till along with some of the other employees and the manager have the strange habit of casually raging at customers who aren't experts on their semi-broken self checkout machines

So disappointing. What was meant to be a special family time was possibly the worst meal we’ve had out in a very long time . Restaurant wasn’t busy, service was slow. Vegan pizza didn’t appear to have been put in the oven at all, it was served cold. This meant one of the family was then eating long after the rest had finished. Not good enough. This dish wasn’t charged for but when family get togethers are now few and far between we had hoped to have an enjoyable night here as we had done one a weekend in March. Never again, here’s plenty of other choice in the area,

Store has everything you need. However, both me and my partner were both shocked at how rude the check out clerk (Dave) was. Blunt, miserable and not at all helpful.

Never shop online, no customer services or refunds

Not great. Very dated and tired decor, poor lighting and simply looked sad. The food was at best mediocre, overpriced and matched their expensive drinks.

All the dishes we ordered weren’t that great, from starters to mains. They were lacking taste and proper cooking. We got pasta ragu, carbonara and chicken Milanese. For starters we got chicken skewer and calamari. If it wasn’t for the good service it wouldn’t worth any stars. Coming from Reading, the Reading branch on same dishes is much more superior.

I have been going to Zizii’s for years, this particular branch has gone downhill quite a lot. The food is good but it’s been better! The atmosphere has changed a lot, it’s almost a bit rough to be honest. Kept forgetting our drinks and food, a bit scatty like there was no care!

Not the best visit we’ve had at this Zizzi’s. We visited on a Thursday evening at 8pm, so relatively quiet. The bar staff were stood around talking whilst we were waiting for drinks. The starters were really great so we were expecting the mains to be of the same quality, but this wasn’t the case. We asked for 2 items to be left out of one of our mains, after waiting about 30 minutes the waitress said that the chef accidentally added the item and asked whether it was ok for me to eat it rather than him making a new one. I personally don’t think this should have even been a question, it should have been re made without me needing to know. The main came out and was clearly very strong in chilli (this was the item I asked to be left out) and turns out there was loads of chillis in there and not just a few like they said. This completely ruined my main. The meatballs in the calzone didn’t seem fully cooked, and typically ever since we have both felt unwell. We’ve both had this main before and it was completely different and no way near as big or as much filling as usual. The waitress at the start was really helpful, but towards the end she was seeming to slack and not give as good service like she did the start. We originally went in the restaurant wanting desert also, but due to the poor quality of the mains we decided not to. Overall we were really looking forward to a long due date night, but the food wasn’t up to standards and we won’t be returning sadly.
