What is the point of these two costa’s never opened. Get a coffee in the morning and they shut so early. In the evening. We will be better to get someone who wants to work the hours it is needed. This is a joke.

On the last few occasions the frappes have been really watery and lacking taste, they have workers who have no idea what they are doing

There are 2 Costa's within the hospital, this is a review of the one halfway along the main building.\\nThought, care and preparation has been put into COVID-19 preventative measures, as you would expect within a hospital, but these measures are maintained to a high standard. From clear signage, including on the floor, to protective screens, clear and ample social distanced walk ways, and plenty of hand sanitiser stations.\\nThe whole establishment is spotlessly clean, all the tables are cleared in a very timely manner and then sanitised, the outside courtyard area is kept clear of rubbish and detritus, and the baristas work area is again spotless, everything is wiped down after each use, nothing is left to pile up, and the work flow seems very well managed.\\nNow onto the most important issue and that of the products served. I am newly diagnosed as dairy intolerant and so still awkward about asking for oat milk lattes, but it was not a problem for them to do, along with a black americano for my husband, who was the reason I was visiting the hospital. The transaction was completed with payment by contactless payment.\\nThe drinks were made quickly and I was offered a drinks holder for the 2 drinks straight away.\\nBoth the coffees were very good, nice and hot, well roasted coffee, and my latte was very tasty.\\nI have returned to the same outlet, passing the first Costs in the hospital, on my following 2 daily visits.\\nIf I did have one very minor issue it would be that the bottle of water I purchased was not very cold, but I asked for a cup of ice and I was provided with that without hesitation or question.\\nI'm writing this early in the morning so I will see what today's visit brings, hopefully another excellent oat latte and black americano.\\nThank you to the team at the Costa for making my daily visits to hospital just that little bit more pleasant.

Apart from the long queue the service by the baristas was quick and efficient.

There are two Costa Coffee's shops in the hospital. This is reviewing the one furthest away from the main entrance. The café is a decent size next to the Brunel Building Garden. I didn't have a problem with making my order except the Barista asking me if I had a pen to mark the lids. There were a few customers next to me that had a problem, even with the orders Infront of the Barista they were asking the customers what milk or toppings they want which I found strange. One customer had made her order before me which was a black coffee to go and I still received my order before her. Then the Barista was saying she didn't get the order through the till, like it was the customers fault and was a little rude.\\nWhen I got back to the room and tasted the coffee it was extremely bitter and burnt. Not good at all.

Good place. Due to Covid-19, there was limited seating and only one or two staff but still a nice shop. On this one particular visit, they had run out of cream, sometimes they don't put enough vanilla in lattes though and don't offer any spoons to scoop out the cream which is disappointing.

The usual drinks and fodder. Obviously far too expensive but they have a captive hospital audience and in its infinite wisdom our super hospital didn't come with a restaurant. For a much better deal walk to the other end of the concourse and give the league of friends your trade.

Always a long wait but the staff try there best considering how busy it is. However, Eliza who served me today looked like she had been sucking on the lemons they use for the tea.

Very busy but good customer service

Usually have no problems, but this time the staff refused to let me have a cold soya drink (mint choc chip frostino). They said they will only do soya in hot drinks, which let me down as a lot of people these days are lactose intolerant and should be treated the same as people are not intolerant! It's the same technique but pouring different milk.

Very strange experience. I love Costa and it's always a good experience else where but something went wrong here. I didn't mind waiting around 5 minutes because they had ran out of a few things but when a female barista stared at me funny and held a drink at me that wasn't mine I realised the order was wrong. When I tried to explain I didn't want chocolate I wanted coffee the other barista was calm and understanding so remade my drink. However there was a mixed message and again the female barista started calling at me loudly and again shoving a drink at me (with a angry look for some reason??) which turned out to be the latte my father had already half drunk. I can understand people make mistakes and places like this are busy but I've never experienced someone get angry at me for no given reason
