The ratatouille was nice, really enjoyed the flavour. The portion was good too. The service was good. They have a sharing plater deal on on weekends that looks good. I will deffo try that if we come again.

Update March 2024: Refurbished Cote is better than ever. Great service, good food, and on Saturday lunchtime, what a buzz! At peak time, best book.Update: Breton chicken, really is their must try dish. Always thought chicken was dry boring and plain; how wrong could one be! Succulent, fragrant, and delicious. Dont miss it.Pleasant food, comfortable decor, attentive service with a dash of charm, and as good for breakfast or lunch as it is for supper. When in Bristol and you scratch your head as to where to go, there's always Cote. Wish there were a few more like it.

Came here for a big birthday meal for a colleague of mine and our sever Victor was amazing, so attentive and fast at getting our orders in. Food was lovely I got the set menu which a charcuterie board and steak frittes for under £17 which is incredible value for such a lovely restaurant. For a Wednesday evening in Clifton the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere as well. I would absolutely recommend booking for a celebration!
