Lovely atmosphere and friendly service.I asked for a soya milk cappuccino to stay in, so I was invited to take a seat, and the barista would bring my coffee. The coffee arrived after 10 minutes (ten) but no queue at the till. The cappuccino was brought without a spoon. I paid £3.90 for a cappuccino, which, consider the average prices around, it's way too pricy. My cappuccino was quite good, but temperature wise a wee mild and the foam was too thin, more like a latte than a cappuccino, but probably I noticed it just because I used to be a batista myself years ago. Overall, great place and atmosphere but service too relaxed and way too expensive.

On my last visit to Bristol, Dareshack was my first stop! A friend I love dearly met me there, and made the experience that much more special. Really great atmosphere, excellent coffee and service. One of the baristas even gave me a free coffee card when he found out I had just arrived to Bristol. Will definitely be back.

Very quiet, quick service, just come early in the morning to find food options!

First time coming to a gig here last night. It's an intimate venue (about 200 capacity, I think) and managed really well, with sets starting on time. The cafe area was open as a bar beforehand, with plenty of space (we arrived at 7ish).

Simply the best coffee in the city, smooth, velvety and delicious!

This place is phenomenal! The coffee is so good - these guys really know what they're doing. The food is also great: we had the toastie croissant and the focaccia with hummus and aubergine and they were both great. The cheesecake was brilliant and the banana and peanut butter cake too!The service was more than great and the atmosphere was brilliant. There's no purpose in writing anything more really - just go there and find out for yourselves.

Best chai latte I've had yet - super smooth with perfect spicing! Lovely atmosphere, the NY deli toastie was lovely

On Holiday in Bristol and my partner said this was the most Australian coffee of the trip, which in his eyes means it's the best coffee he's had in all of Europe ? friendly vibes and awesome service. Not a huge food menu but the croissants were yum.
Really lovely coffee and I had a a great piece of vegan banana and peanut butter cake. Was delicious.

Seemed pretty good. Saw a band I liked and the sound was great. No complaints. However I wanted to buy a shirt and they only took cash. They wouldn't let me go to a cashpoint (there's one a 5 second walk away) and return to buy the merch. This was 22:45. Such a shame and I hope any bands I likeplay there in the future. Completely ruined the experience.

An unusual looking building perhaps with black paintwork and a somewhat industrial appearance internally, it doesn’t look the most inviting place but we popped in on spec as we were after a quick snack and a drink. I would have gone for one of their filled wraps, but they were placed on a high counter right next to where everyone was queueing, so just the right height for everyone to breathe all over them. Very off putting, so we opted for the cakes which were under cover. The selection was fairly limited and a little unusual perhaps – no Victoria Sponge or Millionaire’s Shortbread for example, and much of what they did have seemed to be running low, with only one slice of Carrot Cake left, for example. Other options included brownies and a Black Forest slice. Service was friendly enough, but a bit haphazard. We seemed to be waiting quite a long time for ours to arrive seeing as all they had to do was make a couple of drinks, and when the drinks did arrive the waitress whisked out order number away as though we’d had everything, but the cakes had yet to arrive, and there was no milk with the tea, despite the guy who took the order making a point of asking if we wanted any. The carrot cake was pretty good, nice and moist, but it could have done with some more cream topping. Across the table, a flapjack was ridiculously crumbly, to the point that as soon as you tied to pick it up it pretty much disintegrated, but other than that was quite tasty, although with a bit of a coconut flavour which might not suit everyone. An accompanying latte was pretty good. Overall, not bad, but it needs a few tweaks to really fulfil it’s potential.

I used to walk past Dareshack all the time, but I visited this morning to find incredible coffee, very chatty staff and a chilled atmosphere (they were playing Jacob Collier!)I'd highly recommend Dareshack for the coffee cofficionado who needs their fix on the go. Also the pain au chocolat was incredible!I'll be definitely going back to get brunch someday ?

Another great place to get good coffee - prices very reasonable too - good range of baked goods - lunch options looked tasty
