Popped in for a last minute evening meal with family and was extremely happy with our choice! We were greeted by the lovely Kayleigh who attended to us during our visit. Lovely food & amazing service. Thank you! We will be back again!!!

Only intended to pop in for a quick pint after work but I was drawn in by the fantastic service and great menu choices! Ended up having a great dinner and evening, massive thanks to the girl behind the bar - think her name was Kayleigh? What a credit to the pub!!

Thought we'd have a meal in the pub next door to the theatre before we went to watch the show ? Service was terrible didn't have half the stuff on the menu we orderd bbq chicken everything tasted salty and the chicken in a bowl was over microwaved ?? The drinks were expensive £3.50 for a coke all In all go somewhere else if you want a decent meal and service with a smileCould do with getting a new bar person to attitude stinks ??

Lovely experience before a show. Good service, friendly staff and the food was very good value for money. I will definitely be back.

Came here for a Sunday roast and there was an issue with printing of the order, had to wait a little while but Kes came to our rescue compensating us with drink whilst she got our order out as well as other niceties - excellent service, lovely staff, food was great and will definitely come

Went to play pool and have some beers and ciders with friends. The beer was nice. We had fun playing pool and was not that expensive, and not too busy also.

Amelie was very friendly and welcoming with a big smile as always. Annie was as always happy to help and Kerryn is always a pleasure. The food cooked by Lawrence was as always very nice

Went here before watching a show, really lovely pub with lovely decor for the Christmas season. Was quite busy and there only seemed to be three members of staff on so I can imagine its pretty hard to serve quickly but nether less still really lovely food and student discount really came through with my whole families meal.

Ordered the turkey dinner. It was awful. Freezing cold and definitely not worth the price we paid. There are loads of other bars/restaurants to choose from close by, I'd pick one of them if I were you. Will never go there again.

Amazing friendliness, care and attention. Lovely Steak and Kidney Pie. Well done to all staff. You are what an English pub should be..... Friendly, great value and fantastic service.

The only reason you would pop in is for convenience.Expensive but that's expected for city centre.Only really wanted to use the bathroom, but all 3 male cubicles didn't have a lock on, luckily I'm not shy and didn't mind someone swinging the door open mid poo. It's a Monday evening.Maybe the graffiti in the second cubicle implies this is an issue for a while....For a brewery pub, this should be embarrassing. Clearly not...Waiting to post photos if I can...

So large on the inside. Lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff very attentive and friendly. Tables outside. They take the tables in too early, in my opinion, hence 4 stars. Have been back all the same.
