Enjoyed the asain fusion food, good

Duncan Buchanan

Funky atmosphere, great twists on Japanese/Korean dishes. We went at lunch midweek, so can't comment on the evening atmosphere. Portion sizes were small for the price. Fun place, will return.

If I could give more than 5* I would. Had the pleasure of having all, Esther, Maria and Ria making/ taking and serving the experience of a life time. I was taken away from the normal Bristol experience, and had the pleasure of proper hospitality at its finest. Thanks guys, I'll be back.

Been here a few times and the food is always great. Staff are friendly and there’s a really nice chilled vibe. The pork Dan Dan noodles were a favourite and I still daydream about them!

Good, decently priced food in a nicely designed restaurant.Didnt finish one dish because me and my partner both didnt feel like it lived up to the expectations and the waiter herself suggested they take it off the tab without us even asking for it, which was a very pleasant surprise. Also really recommend the merch! I cannot confirm anything about quality but the jackets at least feel amazing

Absolutely amazing! The service is incredible and the food is to die for…I’d recommend the Spicy Korean Fried Chicken and the secret Katsu Curry Balls.

Walked past on a drizzly friday night, in desperate need of noodles and found this spot. Cool music, nice beer. The veggie dan dan noodles were incredible, the broth was insane! Also had the spring rolls, can't go wrong. 4erHit the spot, will be back next time I'm in Bristol!

(Dine-in 8pm Saturday 17/02/24)Let's start with the positives... Some delicious food (really rated the curry fries), decent amount of vegan options and a great selection of Japanese whisky.Developmental feedback: unfortunately the service we received was severely and strangely lacking. We felt forgotten about more than once, and had to catch our server's attention a lot! There were no considerate check-ins or even any upselling, e.g. my partner asked for a beer and was not offered a pint, I ordered fries and was automatically brought the smaller option - we'd have happily gone larger if we'd been offered. Easy money lost there! When we called our person over to query about dessert, they said there was only one option available, told us what it was, and then walked off without giving us the opportunity to order. Very odd. We got our mochis eventually but they were quite deflated and warm, like they'd been left out of the freezer for too long. Also when we paid (which they were surprisingly quite speedy in accommodating) the server asked if we wanted a receipt - I said yes, but then they wandered off to collect someone else's food... So we never got our receipt. These little oversights and strange shortfalls low key ruined our experience overall. Also, 2 items I ordered (the only vegan bao available, and a popular Japanese whisky) were both apparently unavailable. It was 8pm on a Saturday evening, so obviously that isn't great for the rest of the night! I hope other customers weren't as disappointed as I was to miss out on these goodies.Sorry, I hate leaving a less than glowing review, but work clearly needs doing here and I feel responsible to alert management to it. Hopefully your future customers will have better experiences once these things are rectified.

Food was good but slow to come out, with around 20 minutes between the first dish coming out and the last, and a couple dishes being forgotten about. We came at 8 and three of the main dishes had run out, one after we had ordered. We were told one dish would be taken off the bill due to the delay, which we only realised hadn't been taken off when we got home. Music was fun but didn't make up for the poor/slow service. Wouldn't really recommend unfortunately as quite expensive for what it is.

Asian fusion in the heart of Bristol. This is the sister restaurant to Seven Lucky Gods in Cargo 2. Food was delicious.
